Neat game concept. I like the mechanics and the level design that went into it. Don't really feel the theme at all, but it was fun to play. As someone else mentioned, the hitboxes felt a little unfair at times, and I was confused when I hit a vertical wall but still died. I thought only spikes would kill you (or maybe it was a spike but it didn't feel like it should have). Anyway, good job making this!

Thanks for playing the game and giving feedback! What killed you was probably a spike and I agree that the hitboxes could have been better.

Really nice concept :D

Thanks glad you liked it!

Really cool concept! The spike hitboxes are way too big though, and this doesn't really have anything to do with Overflow

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and leaving feedback! I agree that the spike hitboxes are a little big and the game was supposed to show how data would overflow leaving only parts of the level able to be interacted with if that makes sense.

cool idea with color and switching

Thanks! Glad you liked the concept!

Great gameplay, a mix of plateformer and puzzle which requires some skill to synchronized moving and switching colors. Good job!

I enjoyed it! Easy and simple game.

For the future, maybe consider using a different color for objects, that will not change state on click. I found it a bit confusing which objects change and which don't. Also spike hitboxes could be a bit smaller. But overall, cool game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! Another player said something similar about the colors being confusing and I can definitely see why people think that as green is usually associated with go.

Nice game with simple mechanics and some cool level design, I just don't see how it fits the theme of overflowing or the score, as there is no timer (just assume you didn't have time). Still think it was nice

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The idea was that obstacle data is overflowing and causing some obstacles not to be active while others are, but I can see why it's obvious as the graphics are really lackluster and don't really convey what I was trying to go for.

Nice game :) I wished you used your "simple" aesthetics to give more informations two the player about which blocs are alternating ones (with grey for the walls and spikes that stay activated). Also, green is not a good color for a dangerous item. I would go for red spikes and green wall when alternating.

Still pretty neat and giving the taste of retrying and improving, just got stuck on a level with two yellow jumping pads on the left, I was not able to jump above the two last spikes near the exit.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with your suggestion of using red instead of green!

Nice work I like the color shift mechanic.  Some of these levels were tricky. Great Job
