I had a great time playing this game :) the only thing I would say is you need some invulnerability frames, I kept getting beat up  :D and maybe a HUD for lives ?

Good concept and I enjoyed playing it. The music and sounds were very well picked. A suggestion I have is to make the slimes stand out a little more from the grass. I had a hard time identifying them in the beginning.

Nice little game, the controls felt good and I really liked the artwork, particularly the dash effect! Background music was nice too.

The only thing that I felt was missing was a basic UI, I couldn't see how many slimes I had killed or how many lives I had left? I played the online version though so not sure if the downloadable one is different.

If you pause using the enter key, it will show how many lives you have left and the number of slimes you've killed. If I make any changes after the voting period ends, having that information available all the time is the first thing I'll fix. Thanks for playing!

The idea of this game, having to deal with lots of very dumb enemies, is a good concept. However, this is undermined by the fact that you can't attack for a time after being hit. This makes the game much harder but also prevents the player from making the choice  of getting rid of a bunch of enemies by sacrificing their health.

yeah I thought about both methods, but in the end I ran out of time to test and see which is more fun. I kind of like the danger of not being able to brute force it, but I can see the other side too. Thanks for the feedback!
