- A rather strange game, I must admit. It’s a bit of a shame that it forces you to play with two players — that feels a bit limiting. I find the overall execution quite minimalistic, which really keeps me from getting absorbed in the game, or even in its theme itself. The type of game it is doesn’t really make me want to keep playing, to be honest. So, an interesting demo — maybe it could evolve into something else in a different style. But for now, it doesn’t really grab me. In any case, good luck. You can tell there’s effort being put into it. I noticed some transparent clouds passing by at one point — that was a nice touch.
- Very nice 2-Player concept. Some more stages and the option to pick between different vegetables wouldn't have hurt though. I like the little animations.
- A 2-player game (too bad no Computer AI though). Classic arcade game. Fun.

I was immediately worried when I saw your submission go in, as what are the chances 2 participants both have carrots as protagonists? Fortunately we picked very different gameplay styles, which was then an immediate relief!
I lacked someone to test this with properly, but I played a couple of solo rounds just to get a feel for it. The concept was fun, but it feels like there are very repeatable strategies to win. I think adding some more power-ups like Bomberman to vary the choices the player has could really up the desire to replay.

I like your game very much. The concept and the characters are great! The vegetables reminds me on the Game Boy game "Kwirk" which I love.
Looks like a simple and enjoyable game, I'll have to try playing it together with a friend. I liked the small animation touches you put in there (bouncing letters, sprouting vegetables).
Thanks Goldlocke. Not nearly on the level of polish as your entries 😅 We wanted to add some more animations (e.g. characters and enemy) but time was short
