So much tension. Really loved this one. Like others have said, I think a skip intro button would be a great addition.

The heartbeat times was a rlly unique choice. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

This was good! The heartbeat as a timer was a nice choice, and limiting the experience to 30 seconds probably made it easier to fit into the timeframe of the. If there was anything to critique it's that the endings are pretty abrupt and could be scarier maybe, but they're totally serviceable!

A great submission to game jam. You should be proud!

i liked the heartbeat and concept of the game. would be cool to experience being killed!

I had to retry a couple of times to get the hamster in my head going, but I had fun doing all the things in order to survive! The heartbeat getting louder was a great choice, really felt like the tension! Good stuff!

Really like the concept of the game. I can see this being a full fledge game autogenerating scenes with various weapons and what not. Dying isn’t too scary though.

This was fun, I really liked the concept.

Fun hide and go seek game. I wish there was a skip button in the beginning, to make the replay faster. Great work !

it was petty fun to play, i wanted to try and win, but it just wouldn't let me pick up the key, otherwise it's a nice concept and i like the time limit idea. would've been also useful to have a skip into button as well, to not watch it every time. good job overall :)

Short and straight to the point! Makes for a fun time! Contrary to some comments, I prefer not seeing the timer, I have to rush based on the thumping sound. Good job!

Verry cool game! Love the thumping background sound to give the player a sense of urgency. Instructions are very clear and love the aesthetic.

(Feedback): I did however die after turning the lights off, locking the door, hiding the knives and hiding under the bed. So I wonder if that’s a bug.

Keep it up!

There's the baseball bat too :)

Ohhh I must’ve missed it. My bad!

30 seconds is a pretty tight window isn't it...

Reminds me a bit of Go to  Bed, but I like that in "30 seconds" the time limit makes the experience more frenetic and scary. Fun to play.

I started the game jam half way through (missed the notification for it starting, whoops) so I had to limit the content in the game. The heartbeats were supposed to act as a digetic timer, but I guess I can see how it's pretty hard to determine where you actually are within the time limit. I hoped it would add to the frantic/panicky gameplay more than a real timer would. Also, the skip button would've been a good idea, I dunno why I didn't think of it lol. Thanks for the feedback.

Hid under the bed after locking the door and turning the lights off and still died

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the difficulty/lack of hints in there - like the news broadcast says, you should also hide any potentially dangerous items. Thanks for the feedback!

It passed in 29.9 seconds. Not bad.
