The game had good atmosphere and I enjoyed the creepy vibes all around. Controls are a bit wonky, but given it鈥檚 your first game they鈥檙e not that bad. Some critiques I have are making the mouse disappear, that was the most annoying part was having to reset my mouse or have to turn around the other way so I can look around. Another is giving some more story dialogue and hints to know what to do next. I walked around with the pizza for 10 minutes and still could not figure out what I was supposed to do with it. I鈥檒l give you some kudos for the jump scare upon exiting the game though, I was not expecting that! Overall good first game, I think you have some serious potential! Keep cracking at it and I think you鈥檒l be making some amazing games. Best to you :)

I love fears to fathom series. I even Billy's jump scare sound. Loved This one too.
hey! this seemed like an interesting one but I've had a bit of trouble getting it to work
I can't seem to find a Windows executable in the download, seems to just be two folders with the mac version? Let me know if I'm doing something wrong
Tried it on the web as well but idk if it's build issues or general browser game problems but the mouse isn't locked to the screen so it makes it very hard to control the camera, luckily if it's a build issue that's actually a fairly easy fix in Unity (I'd look into Cursor.lockState and Cursor.visible)
I'd love to give this one a proper shot!
sorry took me a couple of days but I played it
First of all, you said it was your first real game so congrats! making something is always an accomplishment
as far as feedback for this game, I like the creepy tone throughout the whole thing, it's simple but effective
the biggest issue is the lack of direction, once you hear the grandma tell you what she needs it becomes a lot more obvious what you're supposed to be looking for but outside of that it can be tricky to figure out where you need to go and which object is now interactable
overall it was still a fun experience and I hope you keep developing
I wouldn't call it lazy game making, a lot of games are just going from point a to point b to pick an object up so you can then go to point c and get new story development, it's a game jam game after all so you can't expect for there to be too many mechanics and objectives involved
You can still have a game where you have to find the things, it's more about how you frame it to the players so they feel involved in looking for them rather than feeling like the game is holding information from them until they happen to find it
in any case, keep at it, the next one is always better than the last (usually)
Creepy game! Had some trouble with figuring out what to do next, I saw in a comment that there were hint but I dont think the HTML version had it? Other than that I really like the game!
