This was fun to play! The mechanic is neat; definitely could be something to explore more. I loved the humorous vibe--I definitely had a skeltastic time! :)

Thanks for your kind words :) It's always tiring to make something solo, but this type of comments make it worth it!! Cheers

A really creative mechanic! The jumpscares got me a couple of times, I wasn't expecting it. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! Hope to see you in more jams :)

The mechanic was well implemented, pretty quick experience but inspiring! The art style could be more cohesive and the winning flag had a line of pixels that I guess was left in the png file. Anyhow a good one! Challenging but fair!

Developer

Thanks :) Yes indeed, I needed more time to work on the designs, but as a solo I spent most of the time working on the game mechanic. If I ever get back to this project ill first fix the flag I swear hahah cheers!

Really interesting mechanic, I found some levels to be really challenging, but overall very fun!

The only bit of critique would be to have a more cohesive art style, the skeletons and the jumpscares pop out too much from the rest of the artwork.

Would like to see this idea developed further, cool stuff!

Thank you :) I think the same, having a designer on the team would have helped a lot. Thanks for playing!!

I loved the way I was taken to the bone zone. I found the game very fun and challenging in some parts, but the ending was revealing. I'm sure it's the beginning of an idea that can still bear good fruit. Congratulations and success to you!

Appreciated, thanks for taking the time to play and review it! :))

Sometimes a more light-hearted experience works well. So - I was assuming this was meant to be cheeky, so as the happy skeleton came over to share in my merriment, I was pretty unbothered. Here he comes! Here comes theAIEEEEEEEEEEEE! I was taken to the Bone Zone and torn to pieces. Jokes aside, this is a pretty ingenious puzzle game whether players are using the singing mechanic to move objects and goals, whilst counteracting the time spent singing with the advance of the skeleton. This gets pretty witty when both singing and non-singing states have hazards, such as the infamous pink skeleton. And the finale revealed the dark but sobering truth: inside all of us, there lurks a skeleton. Very fun.

Wooow thank you so much for your words!! :) Yeah I think I should have given some kind of warning that the spooky boys were not feeling playful today.. hahaha Appreciate the review and the time you spent playing the game, I'm pretty happy about the mechanic I thought for this jam but I was afraid it could be frustrating if I made it very difficult, had to tweak a lot of stuff... Only if you could watch how fast moved the skeletons in the first tests.. Insert Cars meme of I am speed.

See you in more jams :)

Nah, I figured it out pretty quickly and it's a good one. If you over-explained it you wouldn't get the money shot of players unwittingly realising they're about to be taken to the Bone Zone!

Im stuck in a square room with nothing but a rock? not sure if its a bug or if i dont know what to do

Developer

Weird, played all the way in the html and downloaded versions. Have you tried singing? All the levels revolve around that :) but let me check!

Hello again, added a text guide in case someone gets stuck, you can download it on the page (to avoid putting it there and spoiling stuff) But everything is working okay so far :) Thanks for playing
