Legit! Felt so much like a flash game back in the day!

Some quick points:

  • Graphics reminded me of those flash games from 2004. Hit me right in the nostalgia!
  • Music was ok, but there was no sound beside it. To get free sounds use sites like freesound.org. Really helps with player feedback
  • You didn't reset the score the the start of each round, so my score (4th at the time of writing) was collected during four rounds.
  • What's impressive here is that you got proper enemy navigation in platformer in three days! Kudos!

Over all- pretty good, but it would be nice for you to have more time to develop this one!

Keep up the good work!

Developer

I haven't heard before about freesound.org, thanks

Took me a while to figure out you shoot where your mouse is, but I get it now. Fairly fun, but just not the type of game for me. It's a shame you didn't have enough time to polish, this reminded me of fireboy and watergirl a lot. Also: I just realized that bar is your health, I'm so stupid.

Reminds of an old-school flash game.
like the stylised look too

Really liked the gameplay! But encountered with few bugs. But still, Great work really enjoyed the powers of the player!!! It would be good if you can add some instructions or introduction to the game!

Check out my game also!!

Great idea of collecting weapons of enemies after killing them. Great art style. very climatic. In my second playthrough quite bit of enemies have spawned.  I would love to see this game updated with more elements and everything polished.

Feels like a flash game, reminded me of fire boy and water girl. The start of the game was strange with the melee attack but once you get a weapon it becomes really fun.

Fundamentals are good and I like that you change your attack based on whatever you killed last.
Not being able to block their attacks with a well timed melee attack makes the start really hard.
Also, I think you forgot to reset the kill counter on multiple plays. I would continue with the same amount of kills and just one enemy, but as soon as I killed that one, whole hordes would spawn :P

I'm sure it's a bug but it looked hilarious having 20+ enemies coming at me at once :P

Great job !

I found this bug after submission deadline so I couldn't fix it, thanks for playing, have a nice day!

Hope you can rate mine as well!

The idea is really cool, had fun playing it, maybe in the future add movement abilities for the specific elements, like fire has a fire dash that has I frames, air, or base element is wind, and has a double jump. overall the game was fun!

Developer

That's exactly what I wanted to add if I had more time. Thanks for playing, have a nice day!

Good collecting mechanic, this game really fits the theme, pretty good gameplay, not the best Aesthetics in the world (better then mine haha) And decent sounds! Good job. I do want love that you can collect elements, that's a really fun idea.
