Nicely done! I think removing the collision on the treasures and having them pick up when you walk over them would make the controls feel less cumbersome, but otherwise great feeling game!

Developer

I see, thanks for your input and feedback!

Satisfying game with a really nice ambiance! Got 6 straight "corridor" rooms so it felt a bit too repetitive at some point, but it just need a bigger panel of rooms :)

Developer

Yeah the generation of the rooms was definitely something one of the things including the enemies that I wanted to improve more. Although did you get the 6 corridor rooms all back to back? If so that might be a bug I'm not familiar with.

Submitted

Yes, got the first normal room then 5 or 6 times the corridor with the two small rooms to avoid the guards and back a big room where I got caught.

Developer

yeah I don't think that intended , there should've been some countermeasures to avoid duplicates but I guess there some bug with it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Simple and enjoyable, it would have been better if guards had line of sight implemented.

Developer

Originally we had wanted to make the guards behavior similar to legend of Zelda breath of the wild's stealth enemies which has similar behavior to that, but alas time didn't agree with what we thought.

Submitted

Yea, 3 days is quite a tight timeline.

Nice work! The dash mechanic felt very nice, and I liked that the level design opened up a bit more after the first few linear vertical corridors. Adding more varied enemy designs as you go might make this even better.

Developer

Yeah I had a lot I wanted to add to this game (more enemies, abilities, etc.) but time wasn't on our side unfortunately. And the levels go on infinitely (generated infinitely from select 5 rooms (from which I wanted to add more)). Glad you liked it!

Fun game! Simple but enjoyable. The sounds were pretty great.

Fun challenging game. Fits the theme very well. Art is great, although the character's head seems a lot bigger while it's facing toward the camera.

Developer(+1)

Yeah hehe, that would be our amateur pixel art skills at blame.

Hey your game isn't listed as having a WebGL version, but your page links out to one. I would have missed reviewing it had I not seen that.

I loved the full screen jail cell that comes down when you get caught. LOL that gave me a jump scare haha

Developer

Haha thanks. We had issues getting the WebGL version up in time due to a certain dependency... *cough* Loot Locker *cough*

Lol

I enjoyed playing this even though it was slightly challenging! Definitely met the theme well also.

Developer

Thanks. I believe a difficult game is always more fun than an incredibly easy game.

Very well made! I especially like the look of the game.

Developer

Thank you. Unity's 2D light engine came in clutch for this one.

The game simple to understand and fun to play. Control movement + dash feel smooth. The coin jingle sound when pickup treasure is very addictive. Great work!

This game is delightful. The gameplay is easy to pick up and is super fun/addicting. The sound design is great! (very good cute pixeliated sneaky vibes) and overall just very good.
