Pretty fun game idea.  Pretty challenging to keep going but got up to 200 points.

I realy liked the idea! Simple and effective. I didn't think I would have so much trouble trying to send the particles to the wall that the belong! I kept sending the to the wall with the same color as they have! Very well excecuted also. Super matching music and sound effects.

Developer

Many thanks for the nice words!

I liked your game a lot too!

And yes, sending the balls to opposite colors is really what tricks the brain here. Every time I loose concentration I lose the game ^^. I like that it is a bit difficult.

Cool game I like the idea.

I find the colour of the main ball and the purple ball to be a little bit to similar for me.

Also I can trow the balls back where they come from (up) and nothing will happen

Developer

Hey! Thanks!

And 2 very good remarks. I will change the color of the center ball after the jam and add some kind of barrier to the top, so the balls cannot be shot out of the place to prevent this.

Thanks again!

Really fun game! I liked it!

Developer

Thank you :) and thanks for playing it!

Really fun & challenging game. The "one color goes to opposite side" really got me there XP

Developer

Hey! Thanks ^^. Yes the opposite thing is actually what makes the game interesting, I think :)

Submitted(+1)

Took a bit to get into the groove but enjoyed my time regardless! Got up to 420 and said I could rest lol

Developer(+1)

Thank you and 420 is good!

I will definitely add the leaderboard after the jam to have people compare their scores :)

This game is a lot of fun to play, too bad I suck.

Developer

Thanks for playing it!

Sorry to hear that :( . Do you have any wish for changings? I plan on adding some more modes, like one where the colors must match so the brain does not get twisted b y trying to do the opposite.

Submitted(+1)

add a bit of mass to the balls, they are probably the furthest human sent object in space right now lol

Developer

Will do :)

Submitted(+1)

Good idea!

Developer

Thanks!

But it lacks shotguns and cookies ;)

Submitted(+1)

Simple but unique game. I had fun! Good job!

Developer

Thank you very much!

Seems like we both go for simplicity, although your post processing skills are way more advanced ;)

This game is addicting!

Developer

Thank you :)

In fact so addicting, that I spent more time playing it than implementing features...

A bit confusing that the colors have to be mixed up. I don't think it would have been any less fun if they were going to their own color.

I like playing with the physics in this game. It's kinda satisfying.

Developer

Thank you!

I originally had them to match their own color until I realized that my brain almost jumps out if I try to mix them up. That made the game way harder for me and I chose this to be the main mechanic to have a difficult game.

After the jam I will add more (simple) modes to it. One is the color match mode. Another one a mode with more space to operate. There are many options and I like to hear that many would like to have a color matching mode. So this is what i will add to it.

Thank's again!

Really fast and confusing. Nice game, liked it.

Developer

Thank you and thanks for taking the time to play it!

Submitted(+1)

I really liked playing your game. Even tho the mechanics are so simple my highscore is 160.

Something in my little brain is to dumb to separate two colors from each other.

I got the 160 by kicking the balls up a bit so that I have more time ti think of what to do with that ball.

Overall the game is so simple but still so hard. I liked playing your game and I'll probably come back to get the 250 XD

Developer(+1)

Thank you! And thanks for playing my game!

I use the bumping mechanic myself at the start, when there is still time to do it :). It gives you a bit of time to think. But at some point my brain always tells me: green! put it into the green one! ^^

I really enjoyed, sometimes the cursor went through the quantums however, but i think it was just because i was launching my mouse across my room, trying to get them in the right direction

Developer

Thanks a lot and thanks for playing it!

Yes. Engine physics are always kind of fiddly when you push them to the limit.

I hope your mouse is alright :).

Submitted(+1)

Solid concept and fun physics! I think an enhancement would be to have a different shape forbthe cursor, like a scoop or something, to really push what you can do with the physics.

Nice job!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! And thanks for playing!

I thought about that as well. Scoops, rotating squares or just bars. Also, the left and right zones could move or be temporarily partially be blocked. The whole concept could work also in a spherical environment etc. A lot of nice things that can be added :)

I like the game, but its hard.

I wish there would be something like multiple lifes, so you dont die instant when you miss one single.

Developer

Good suggestion. I plan implementing different modes after the jam. I think one with lifes would be great.

The main mode is this hard one. The game - at the moment - is meant to be a challenge and to be hard. :)

I already have a lot of nice ideas on how to make it more easy but still challenging.

Submitted

Sounds good :)

Submitted(+1)

This is very interesting, there is a flaw (?) - the ball can fly over the edge and then the points will not be counted for it, but you will not die. And it's a little difficult for me because I constantly want to g2g and p2p

Developer(+1)

Well, the g2g and p2p part is exactly the core of the brain.break mechanic ^^. I usually had it exactly like that. p2p and g2g and then, as it was too easy, I added this mode as a challenge mode after a certain time. I realized that this was super hard for me to not mess it up and as the original mode felt too easy, I decided to go for the hard mode instead, as there are a lot of small games that stick out just because of that. I know it lowers the chance, that a wide audience will enjoy it, but I kind of like it better this way.

Thanks for pointing out the bug!

I realized that only today and had no chance to fix that, but I will definitely do it after the jam. Shooting out the balls over the top should be prevented (by some forcefield or sth.). Thx for pointing it out!

Submitted(+1)

really fun physics. Addicting!

Developer

thank you! Just as intended :)
