Wow, really funny idea! The art is also nice, but the gameplay is a little bit too simple and gets boring fast. Also, maybe add particles when the vaccine gets destroyed. And the music was waaayyyy too loud and overdriven, it hurt my ears a bit...but the sounds are great! This is a funny idea, with more evovled gameplay i could see this in the appstore soon! I hope my feedback helped you, it would be nice if you could check out our submission too. Thanks!

The gameplay is simple but still fun, and the art is nice, great game!

Really cute game! the UI and the graphics are awesome, the only thing is it really hard, and I can't rotate the crown in time with only the arrow keys.

Developer

Thanks for playing our game!

Fun idea but the gameplay was a little simple. Really clean and nice art though!

Cool graphics, good sound design. Maybe you could have added a little bit more content, but overall it's a solid game. Well done! My best is 96.

Developer

Thanks!

cool concept , art and sound fit well . my only issue is hitting the same button over and over again to go in the same direction, I'm a lazy gamer XD , i just want to hold the button down. this is probably just personal preference though.

Developer(+1)

hahaha, we hope you enjoyed the game, holding the button might be too easy and emotionless!

Is there an issue with the browser version? It freezes in main menu as soon as I click something, whatever I click. :o

Developer

There is no non-browser version, can u write what browser are you using? if you click on quit, it freezes, as the button is for downloaded versions (but we didn’t upload them). Can you check the game on mobile, too?

Yay! I got vaccinated!

I managed to get it to work on chrome, initially I was using Opera, never experienced this issue earlier but it worked without a problem in chrome. ^^

I liked this game! It was fun, I think the fact that the needles slow down when they get closer is a fantastic part of the game design, it gives you panic and a lot of satisfaction when reaching there in time, without feeling "unfair" - which is, I've found - otherwise a very common jam-game-issue.

I also like the fact that nothing here feels default or standard, art-wise. A great creation and a solid game! :)

Definitely a funny little game. solid controls too I could see this working well on mobile

I don't recommend getting political, but I personally don't mind. I like the polish, the gameplay is based off reaction time, which can be stressful for the player over long periods of time.  Art and sound design was nice, overall I think it's a cool game!

It starts to get pretty fast! Nice work! I would have preferred controls where you can keep holding the buttons to continually move around the center.

Great presentation, both for the UI and the game assets, especially considering that it's one of the few entries I tried which doesn't use pixel art, something for which I am guilty myself. Unfortunately, despite an impeccable technical aspect, the gameplay gets repetitive quite soon, while also being the third game (in a row!) to have the same exact mechanic of having a shield rotating around something to protect. I'm sure that given more time you could come up with more interesting things, so good job either way!

Clean and neat looking art!

Needle should be a little slower at start.

As for controls, I wish you could move crown with A/D and hold it to spin automatically.

Constant tapping(especially on phones) will make your thumbs go numb. Suggestion from FonkinS sounds good too, with it following mouse/touch position. :D

Nice game! but the needle is too fast for me xD

Really fun! Uses a simple concept and uses it to its fullest.

Managed to score 197!  love the concept here & can tell by the design you probably made this with mobile in mind & this just seems like a perfect fit for it so great job!

Also "3 minutes, 11 seconds before the deadline", I know I would have been freaking out submitting this close to the deadline!

Submitted(+2)

Love the concept, giggled at the ending message! Good job!

My Highest Score: 60 So first of all, nicely done, and the concept was quite unusual.

However, I found that the hit sound effects were a bit inconsistent, with it occasionally giving the "crown destroy vaccine" sfx instead of the "vaccine hit me" sfx.

Also, one big problem I see in games like these are that the controls are inconsistent. What I mean is that in the menu, you have to use your mouse, while in the actual game you never use it and have to use your arrow keys. I would have liked it if you had had the option of using arrow keys in the menu, or then letting you move the crown around pointing towards the mouse

Developer

Hi! The game is mobile-first, so every button is tappable and clickable. You can play the whole game with the mouse if you will, but that would be really hard. About the sfx issue -we are looking to fix it in a post-jam version. Thank you for playing!
