Movement needs a little bit more work here. Especially in parts where you're required to move in zigzag, in order to avoid getting damaged. Would also be useful if I can see my healthbar. There is one stage where it was difficult to tell where the objects were coming from. Especially when one of the objects (rocks for example) seem to have a similar color with the path.

Awesome job though!

Thank you for the feedback. The health bar is actually on the astronauts backpack - the 3 red lines.

Hey! So this is pretty fun, and I like a few of the touches you put into the game:

  • It's very clear which items are helpful vs obstacles
  • The various biomes are visually nice and provide variety
  • The teleportation actually gives the player a much-needed moment to blink and calm down

The only think I wasn't so certain about is the health system. I'm guessing the red strips on the spacesuit's back are the health, but its seems some obstacles were doing 2 damage points, which didn't seem right to me. Also there are a whole lot of medkits, maybe when you're on full health you could get a score boost for collecting them? Anyway, this is a solid endless runner and the difficulty ramps up well, nicely done :D

So... so close...

Thank you for trying out the game! It's so rare nowadays to find someone who give you a somewhat a nice review on a game, anyways, yes the red strips behind the player are his health bar and the reason I made the medkits show more frequently is because I was so bad at the game haha and I forgot to decrease it's percentage of it showing that's totally my bad. I see you made it to 12k  barely beating the 1st place that's amazing you destroyed my highest score which is 6k

Super fun game- I really enjoyed it! A runner is a good choice for a high-score jam, and I like the way you worked in teleporting to other maps to boost your score. The 2.5D style looks great (just curious to know if this is a 3D environment with 2D assets) and works well with the gameplay mechanics and the graphics. I think maybe the UI should be moved around a bit, so that the score does not block the items in the distance. Also it'd be helpful to know how much health I have. Solid game overall. Great work!

I think the health is indicated by the red strips on your spacesuit's backpack

Oh yes! I think you're right. My mistake.

Developer

yes that's correct :)

And all the asset are 2D in a 3D environment.

Thanks for the info dude. I've never worked on a game like this and I was just curious.

Gameplay as expected for a Runner Game, the Teleportation gives this Runner Game a Unique Touch to get Teleported to a new Map with different Layout

Cool Idea, Good Work!

Nice game I like the mix of 2d and 3d however after a certain point obstacles stop spawning for some reason.

Nice endless runner with a 90 arcade theme.

Gameplay is fun and the graphics are amazing! It's a bit hard to tell where the object on the ground is relative to the player, besides that, fantastic work! Would appreciate it if you could check out my game too!
