At first when I launched the game I thought "well, this color blinking in main menu I seems weird and unnecessary", however as soon as I started playing and got first color switch I thought "Well, that main menu color blinking was genius!". I love how game is preparing you for the main mechanic from the get go and the fact that mechanic itself is really simple to understand without any tutorial. I did feel at later levels could use introduction of new elements, but it's a jam game, so I think it's really nice you focused on main things and made the core game pretty polished. Needless to say graphics and sound complemented game really well and main mechanics fits theme perfectly. Besides that I love how your game plays with players emotions by the use of chill sounds combined with such a challenging mechanic.

Wow, thank you for this in-depth response, it really does mean a lot! I'm glad you picked up on the main menu aesthetics, hehe, I was hoping it would have that effect! I'm glad you enjoyed the other parts of the game too, and, yeah, time restrictions led me unable to add more gameplay elements, but thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely look into that if I decide to update the project!

Again, thank you so much for all the feedback! It means so much! :D

That the inversion happens randomly frustrates a little bit. Maybe it would be better to inverse in a constant frequency, so that the player has the chance to feel the beat. Nevertheless was totally worth playing it! Nice submission. :)

Thank you for that suggestion, it's definitely a common theme! It's really great to get this feedback, so thank you so much! :D

Nice game! I fell like sometimes the random swap happens too fast between one another.

Developer

Thank you! And also thank you for the comment on that, I'll be sure to modify it if I update the project! Thank you! :D

Nice idea and a clean and simple look. Fun! I think making the flips come at regular time intervals might make it easier to get into the flow of the game.

Developer

Thank you for your nice feedback, I really appreciate it! And I agree, maybe a shorter range or even set time for the swapping would make the game feel a bit smoother! Thank you! :D

Well done! The game looks incredibly good. But maybe do something about too short intervals... They can pretty much trap you in one place if a few of them come in a row.

Developer

Thank you so much for the reply!  I’ll look into the time limits if I ever update the game, thank you! :D
