  • Character name isn't spelled as mandated in the Required Elements (Steffiny & Stefan) but I am unsure if that is allowed or not. Cute pun, though Cute graphics for the sea creatures, easily my favorite part Gave up at the 3D map, as there was no indication of which was the correct path to go (it said east at first, but turning east immediately showed only a wall), and no visual aspect of when the direction would be scrambled (there was mention of whirlpool or blue things? I saw none). So I walked around for several minutes, finding doors that were sealed, but no way to open them. Enjoyed the pseudo 3D aspect, however. Interesting story, and pacing was well done. Just wish the 3D section had some more direction (literally)

This was really surprising and fun, the artwork was really good. I enjoyed the ocean theme, you all told a good story with a good message at the end.  It was all really well done, good job everyone who worked on this. The balance seemed a bit everywhere, but the battles were fun. The animations were really good and the movement and stuff with the skills in combat was also really good. Some enemies were easy to defeat while the middle boss was quite challenge as the HP was going down fast, the last boss felt a challenge but much easier in comparison just higher HP. I think all that's due to the enemies and bosses have basic set skills, and then the enemy troops having much lower HP or otherwise defines. But the combat was still really fun. The story felt meaningful when you included the message at the end, and it was nice to have a treasure hunt under the ocean with a father and son relationship at the centre. I really enjoyed the sprite work and tileset. Overall an enjoying game. : )

The passion in this game is really evident with all of the custom assets on display and the amusing story! The first-person maze was pretty innovative, too. While I wouldn't call it flawless, I love the charm this game exudes and enjoyed my experience overall. Well done!

Awesome art and I especially loved the jaws attack! Interesting way to implement a "first person" dungeon too! Well done!

So this is Atlantis Lost. Gameplay wise, it's not ground breaking, but in terms of atmosphere, this is one of the most original games of the jam. This game sets itself apart from the other entries in a number of ways. Now, obviously, this game is not perfect and I'm going to get into these points.

- The chests at the beginning of the game doesn't really open. Actually, they more or less open depending on the direction you interact with them.

- There was a point were Scargill was talking about a puzzle, but I didn't knew what he was talking about until I could move. This is hard to understand what the characters are talking about if we, as the player, don't know what they are talking about. A way to solve this would have been to move the camera toward the puzzle to show it to the player.

- Oops.

- Why the Item option is available despite being useless?

- Murda calls himself a whale. Not sure if this is a mistake made on purpose or not. Or he is comparing himself to a whale.

- Prospector Steve is so fragile he doesn't last 1 or 2 turns against bosses.

- I am... doubtful about the utility of levels and experience in this game. Due to having no way to get into battles other than the mandatory ones, it would have maybe been better to not have a level/experience system at all.

Then I wanted to talk about the lack of map which is pretty scary during first person sections, but it's relatively simple other all so it's a minor issue. And it allows to put the player in the characters' shoes so I give it a pass. I understand the decision being made here. ^^

Also, implementing the first person dungeon was pretty ambitious, so kudos for that!

Now with that said, I wish you good luck with the game jam as well as your projects, team... Ah shit! (Language!) Sorry! I meant your team isn't named so... Good luck The LionX, The Human and The Mustelid! ^^;

I finished it, and wow! :O <3 First off, the custom arts, sprites, and music are very beautiful! ^_^ I love the unique charm to it playing as a Dolphin and having a part of Shark, little dolphin and a Shrimp. :D The underwater maps are really nice as well, especially when we get to the maze parts where you go first person. That was really well-done! The lore behind Atlantis and how humans once had magic was also pretty interesting! (could there be some truth to that? XD) :) The characters are really enjoyable, I get a lot of good chuckle out of Scargill's interaction with the party and the enemies. So funny to imagine sea creatures talking like pirates lol!  The battles are really fun too! The action sequences you guys made were amazing! I mostly love Scargill's attack where he sneaks below and bites the enemy, as well as the Father and Son-ar! <3 I don't find any balance issues, so that's cool! :) The puzzles were simple but was designed very cleverly! Overall, I can really see the great effort and passion into making this! Amazing job to the team (The LionX, The Human, The Mustelid.)! <3 had a lot of fun! ^_^
