I really wish I had more time to check out all the jam projects, and I regret not checking yours before the deadline!
Amazing work with charming characters and a fantastic story. Congrats on such a great entry! For what it’s worth, this is definitely my favorite project I’ve seen here!
omg its a honor to hear this from u! yours was my fav--! thank you for playing even after the jam! (..◜ᴗ◝..)
Aww this was really fun! Echoing the creative use of the RTP, using the title images as map assets (and the usage of the castle) was really neat. The drawn CGs are really nice (your artstyle is very cute!) and the story was very funny.
Mmm... kinda want to make mango graham now.
omg thank you somuch for playing!! :'>> browsing the RTP folders was worth it to make this silly lil game-- I have also played your game and your artstyle is amazing!! love the librarian ehe
yes go make mango graham!!! >:DD
asdfgkskf omg thank you!!! 😭
Congrats on completing and submitting your game!
The design and presentation in this game is top notch - the lighting in the city, the clever use of panoramic stills in the cutscenes and the neat touch of making the city feel alive and bustling with the 'phantom' NPCs you cannot interact with - something I really like in Phantasy Star Online.
I'm not sure if it's just me or something that is just present by default in MV (I don't own MV so I can't double check) but for some reason each time a new window is about to be drawn, it quickly resizes itself and at first it gave me the impression that I'd skipped some text by accident, but then it did it in the battle windows too. Slightly immersion breaking and annoying but that's not a criticism aimed at you, I'm just wondering if it is happening to anyone else, or if it is just MV or me, who knows?
The VTuber and the fairy were two very cute and likeable characters too. I enjoyed the game, thanks for making it!
thank you so much for playing and all the comments with the details! I really appreciate it! :>> and I'm really glad you liked the silly characters :D
as for the window 'quickly resizing' it was a plugin for effect for a 'bouncy' UI window! But upon testing in browser, it seems to lag so I can see why you feel something was skipped. I'm afraid I have no clue how to fix this browser issue :( But the download version should be smoother. Thank you for pointing it out! I may have to avoid some plugins for browser playable versions.
"Creative" is not enough for me to describe how much I loved the use of the RTP here! Really funny too, good job!!
thank you so much!! :'>>
I really like how you used the RTP in really creative ways!
thank you!!! :'D
Wow, that ending implemented another one of the themes that I didn't expect to show up :D
