This is a really nicely fleshed out game Ψ(`_´ # )↝ I am however terrible at platformers so I've not been able to finish it yet but I'm still very impressed with what I've seen ^(#`∀´)_Ψ

Alright I beat it! I knew getting past that part would be worth it! Jammin' to the music and wreckin' on enemies, collecting shrimp and a BOSS FIGHT?? WHAT???

Also, extra points for this line

As a user experience designer, my recommendations would be to make the spinny pivot thingy have a bit of a lock on/zip to if you press the right button near it - I kept barely missing them in the tutorial.

Also, I had no idea I was getting hit for awhile in the battles - some sort of hit feedback would help there.

Great work, and a lot of love put into this! I want more levels to navigate with the impressive moveset.

For the life of me I have no idea how to get past this part?? How do I do it????

Sorry for the late reply, you can jump and press Right Mouse to slam the Scythe into the wall, it'll launch you upward!

I swear I tried that 100 times.  I'll keep at it - maybe I was pushing too hard into the wall.

Just want to say thank you for being such an inspiration! this is so hype

I love the character designs and the models, effects, and animations so much!!  Happy this game got submitted in some form.  I wish the combat was a little meatier and that there were more reasons to use the platforming moves during the proper level, but I absolutely loved using the the scythe's platforming capabilities to fuck up enemies like jumping then using whirlwind when I'm about the hit the ground, or using the scythe slam to rise above a group while dealing damage when the scythe hits + when it hits an enemy while returning to me.  So much potential and so many vibes here, love it.

super dead.
The hover move was little awkward to use on the shift key, I think it should be used when the jump button is pressed twice. And the magicians can cast the thunder spell from anywhere after seeing the player.

This rocks. I got stuck right after talking to "you know who", but I had fun jumping around - appreciate the checkpoints.

Also I just collected everything & beat every enemy!

Darkside & Yellow Opera are looking a little different than normal ;P (jk, I still love what you did)

Carmen this is metal AF, I love it. I hope you know this means I'll be wishing for more in the future <3
Also! If I can give one piece of advice, I think the tutorial kinda set the tone wrong with the immediate Mario lost zone platforming and no scythe. Imo you should get the scythe into Tabitha's hands ASAP because that's when the game starts feeling really good (though that first scythe wall jump is HARD, it took me like 10 minutes just at that one place, it's really when the monsters first appear that the game goes into overdrive)
