I really love this! It's really well made and the limb mechanic adds a great twist to the genre.

I'm gonna leave a few notes:

  • the tutorial messages block the screen: it would be easier if they were out of the way completely - or moved when the cursor hovers over them
  • also, explaining everything in several paragraphs at the beginning of the game is a lot to remember (maybe separate the instructions between some tutorial levels? then the play has time to absorb everything)
  • being able to compare items side by side would be a great quality of life feature
  • the stats aren't always clear (what is area size - range already exists)
  • it would be nice to swap out items, instead of overwrite (it would be nice to sell items instead of lose them)
  • I don't understand how the tower types work (are they guides?)

I think this is fantastic! It's a great way to learn the basics of coding, and the difficulty ramps up. The look is clean and neat, and nothing felt confusing in terms of what I could and couldn't do.

Great job!

This is really well made! The theme ties the whole thing together very nicely.

I'll keep that in mind - thanks for the suggestion!

I love this! The visuals are perfect, and the music really slaps!

The size is 1200 x 840 - I think there are issues with using the itch app; it's meant for the browser

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback - oomph is exactly what I want players to feel

I like this! I think the setting is interesting, and I think you explained just enough to get the point across without being overbearing. I also liked the characters and how the story unfolded, it felt very human.

I noticed that the faces occasionally flicker, I wasn't sure if that was a bug or a feature, but I figured I'd let you know.

I'm, uh... I'm stuck under the map, and I don't know how to respawn. XD

When I selected the "Back to Adventure Editor" button, I received this error message:

"AccessDeniedAccess denied.Anonymous caller does not have storage.objects.list access to the Google Cloud Storage bucket. Permission 'storage.objects.list' denied on resource (or it may not exist)."

I'm guessing you'll want to reconfigure your apps authorization.

Thanks for the feedback!

I love it! I like the push mechanics, the knights little run, and the music is stellar!

I think there's an issue with the level selection - only parts of the texture are selectable, but that's a minor one.

Overall, great job!

yeah, I saw the big B button and thought that would do something

This frickin rocks! I think the controls are a little confusing, especially in the menu, but overall I think this is an excellent game!

Thank you for sharing this! I'm having so much fun just messing around and feelin the groove.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback.

What about confirming would you say takes you "out of the atmosphere"? The confirmations are there to give the user control over when they are ready to "finalize" their decision, but maybe there's something we can change to keep the immersion (I believe that's what you're referring to).

When you say "navigate the menu", do you mean going from the client, to the table (the cards), and to the kitchen (the drink) - navigating between the playable areas? We set it up like that because:

  • the card selection is meant to be first because the user is selecting what aspects of fate they wish to attempt to alter, and
  • the drink section is meant to go after, because each tarot (card) needs a matching ingredient in order for the drink to be "effective" in altering a person's fate.

If the drink selection is first, then the player would not know what aspects they are making a potion for. Does that make sense? I'm not certain if that is explained well, and we want the game mechanics to make as much sense as possible.

Any further feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D

Glad you liked it! There have been some weird browser issues with this - I want to fix it after the jam finishes.

Oh my god. I literally removed it.
Is there any way I can resubmit? I swear we submitted it in time. I can literally show a clip from when I removed it, just now. I genuinely have no idea why I clicked it, but it was a total mistake on my part and I don't want to let my team down.

Hey, our entry, NocTarot, has been removed - was there something wrong?

Loved it! It would be nice to know how much money I have when purchasing.

This is dope, and you're dope for making it. Thank you!

yeah, needs some smoothing over for sure.

Yeah, it's broken, but I'll be updating it after the jam.

No, it's broken. I didn't realize till after the submission deadline. I'll probably edit it after the jam.

Ah, yeah, its broken for now - I'm not updating it till after the jam, but it definitely needs some love.

Oh wow... that 14 point node wasn't supposed to be so cheap (and it's broken). This wasn't the best execution on my part. C'est la vie.

Eh, its broken, so there's no wrong answer, technically.

Ah, yeah, the positive feedback loop. Not much challenge in it, but I'm glad you liked it.

It was supposed to be more "passing energy" around, but certain things didn't come to fruition.

Yeah, despite my tweaking, it kept going into a positive feedback loop. I didn't really account for that and do any dynamic stabilization.

Sorry for the noise, I tried my best, but the audio work was basic.

I like it, but it feels like it needs more "oomph" for that chain reaction to really land. I vote for more juice.

Great! it does get a bit hard to navigate, especially early on.

Its nice, but it does quite feel like a game yet. Keep at it, though!

Cute cat.

Feels difficult to keep up with demand.

Needs more challenge - right now failing seems hardly punished, and I didn't really need to play minesweeper, just pop and run.

Metal.

I liked it, the audio could use some softening, especially when it builds.
