Just me!
What was the origin story?
This is a remake of a game I worked on as an artist with a team, for another game jam last year. I liked the idea and wanted to try it again solo with another year of practice under my belt, I think I definitely succeeded.

I liked this (´∀`)♡ nice graphics and sound design, good job!
Charming graphics! Addictive gameplay loop. The saw was satisfying to use. The randomness of the weapons and upgrades was fun but kind of frustrating (especially when you only get chippers). I stopped playing because I went to the next level and it just sent me to the title screen.
Tyty, yeah the randomness isn't tuned quite right. I have more guaranteed tractors and scarecrow rooms in the post-jam patch. I don't know how your game ended lmao I hit ctrl+f and looked at all the times I transition to the title screen; unless you are in the tutorial none of them are linked to room transitions, and I never reenter the tutorial. You got lucky and found a secret bug!
Cool artwork and gameplay i really enjoyed it :D
Cool concept with the bullets, feels nice and the art is fun.
Starts off a bit hard for a jam-submission for me personally. It would be nice if I could see the magazine closer to the player, so I know what I've got without looking away from him.
Fun little game, the art is super well done and there's plenty of juice to go around. I found that the bullet types and items were a little hard to keep track of in my head, especially since they don't have synergies yet, maybe starting the player with less options would give them time to acclimate.
Tyty, did you know you can look at the descriptions of everything in your bag from the pause menu? I didn't do a great job of communicating that
Cute and well polished! It felt like it ended a little to fast for me! MAKE MORE!
Very fun art and animations!
Great enemies as well!
Is there anything you can tell us about the ai?
Sure! They're all very simple.
The pumpkins have a random curve speed, either -1, 0, or 1. Then the walk towards you and to the left/right depending on their curve.
Little goo monsters are the same, except they curve from -2 to 2.
Crows pick a random amount of times to hop in random directions, then charge and dash towards the player.
Cobs walk directly away from the player, until they are far enough away. Then they start charging and shooting.
All the basic monsters except the little goo(s) push away from each other with a force relative to their distance apart, so that they don't overlap.
Bosses just go through a looping track of 3-4 states, which all have totally separate movement targets and attack patterns.
That is awesome!
really well made 2D shootemup. Polished, cute, nice twist with the projectile shuffle mechanic.
I have a similare game idea for my game actually :D
the best entry so far. Great work!
