Discordserver for next time?

Don't know if this was already suggested, but how about a discordserver for next time?
I felt like there really lacked a space to further talk about the games (the comments really feel weird at a certain point) or just interact with each other and maybe search for teams/team-members in advance?

I had the feeling that the community here was very strong in the voting-process and I kept reading certain people/names in the comments with whom I would have loved to interact more. Would also be nice to stay in contact with new friends! :)

Thanks for the wonderful experience everybody! <3

That'd be amazing

I totally agree. If there will be another jam, a discord server would be really nice. Also regarding help with code or something like that. Just having a more interactive community :)

Great Idea! I would have loved a discord server to connect with other jammers and receive/give feedback! I find it hard to tell whether other devs want criticism and how much of it they'd like. For me personally, it would be a lot easier to give and get feedback if there were more options for a dialog with other devs without commenting on comments and so on.

If anybody feels like chatting about the jam or gamedev in general - feel free to add me :) Discord name is the same as my username

this would be lovely!

What would be dope as well is a simple online hangout space, like a 3d expo/office world. I took part once in such a competition and another time for some sort of webinar series, was cool the gamified approach.

I found some of you in the Femdevs and HB Gamedev but a designated Discord would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

had the same experience on the GameDev Regensburg-Server! :D

Hi everyone, thanks for your Feedback!
We definitely had (and still have) a Discord Server on our radar as part of a Jam.
Due to resource limitations for this first iteration we were not able to set up and more importantly community manage a Server.
But we definitely have it on our mind for a potential future Jam, as we fully agree with you on all the potential benefits it would provide for the community!
