Group 7:

There was no explanation for what the controls where. We had to figure out that shift was sprint. Also, if you held up, you'd basically become a bouncy ball.

The game was pretty fun to play, despite having to figure out what the control were. The controls were very responsive and fluid

One suggestion would be, for the jump affecting ability, have it not accumulate and be able to jump off the map

I enjoyed playing this. I enjoy how the power-up collection is randomized. I think the platforming in general is cool, as the sprint makes movement easier. The fact that the sprite spins when the character jumps (and that it's Among Us) is pretty cool as well. I think a gripe here is that, while the world is big, it feels a tad empty. I think adding some stuff that can kill the player (like the equivalent of goombas) would help. Overall, pretty good.

G6: I definitely had the most fun playing this game. I like how big the level is, though it did feel a bit easy to get lost. It wasn't very obvious what direction to go in, unlike a typical side-scroller. I'm also not sure why mario turned into an among us character but I'm not complaining, either. Nice game!

Cory - Love the style! Did not figure out that you could move faster with shift until I almost finished the level. I also like that the roll always happens when falling, not only just when jumping. The timer is a bit hard to see in the top right and we did notice that if you stacked some of the jump pickups, you could see the edge of the background near the top.

Alex - Not a whole lot to suggest, a nice game! I liked the implementation that the ! blocks randomizing the powerups given and that if you collect enough of those purple balls, you can jump to the moon!

G8: Character design is good, I like the bouncing mechanic if you hold jump down. Power ups are fun to get them all. I like the animation of jumping too.

Group 4: The movement is good and the powerup stacking is really fun especially when you get a bunch of the jump boosts. We want level two.

Amogus

Liked the powerups, character design, very large map

The jump can get a bit floaty when sus boy gets too fast, a variable jump would be nice

If the first box gives a mushroom, the first jump is hard to make

Sound effects for other interactions would help improve the experience.  Liked how the power ups made you move faster and jump higher.
