Group 2: 

My favorite game of the bunch. I like the background music a lot! I love the concept of using stars to strategize with the different players is somewhat a novel concept. The use of checkpoints made it easier for us. The buttons lighting up on the UI are cool, too.

I think one gripe is that the fireball doesn't have light emitting. Also, there's no win condition. Other than that, it's the cream of the proverbial crop. GG.

Group 2: 


I enjoyed playing this. I enjoy how the power-up collection is randomized. I think the platforming in general is cool, as the sprint makes movement easier. The fact that the sprite spins when the character jumps (and that it's Among Us) is pretty cool as well. I think a gripe here is that, while the world is big, it feels a tad empty. I think adding some stuff that can kill the player (like the equivalent of goombas) would help. Overall, pretty good.

Group 2: 

Travis says it's pretty good. A minor gripe was that it was a bit laggy on the html end.  

I think the graphics are great, the camera tracking is good. While the level was small, it was fun to navigate, and this is enhanced by the power-ups. The dash and double jump are great, and I like how there's a bar that shows when the dash resets. I don't know if the other bar was for health or not, since there was no way to take damage. I also enjoy how you sink in the water! something no other game had. 

One gripe might be to add a win condition.

Group 2: 

Good: We loved the sardonic look on capitalism, how you run around looking for eggs, but sometimes you just can't get to the eggs. Like the music, and walking sound effects, and the egg animations. Also the rain effect was cool.


Bad: We couldn't get 5 of the eggs, it seemed that the bounds of the map moved, or maybe there was a way through the trees we couldn't find.

(Group 2): 

The game is pretty good! the movement is pretty smooth and has a nice feel. I love the little idle animation for the character sprite. The use of the occluders were really nice, and the background is unique. I also like the music, sound effects, and how the speed bar builds up over time. You also included a win condition, which is nice. 

The only major critique I have here is that the textures and UI stretch at times, making it look a little off.

Group 2: 

Good: Really cool how the light on the character shrank as the time to attack shrank. Also thought the background music was a bop, and it was nice that you could win.


Bad: Missing some sound effects for heal, and the jump could be frustrating at times.

Group 2:

I don't like not being able to jump and move-- it makes movement a tad tedious. I also think a sound effect on jump would be better if you replaced it with a sound effect on landing. It's a bit too cartoonish for the aesthetic. Speaking of which, I like the aesthetic-- it's kind of a horror-like platformer with what looks like an originally-made background and hyper-realistic hearts. I could see such an aesthetic existing in a real game, and it's a cool combination. Overall, pretty good
