Thanks! I think I'm going to turn it into a mobile game after the rating period ends.
Isn't this art straight from super meat boy?
I definitely took inspiration from super meat boy for that gummy teethy smile, but everything was hand drawn in PS.
nice work then!
Thanks!!
Very funny game ! I'm very impressed of what you have managed to do in 48 hours ! Very beautiful graphics and cool idea too :)
Thanks! That means a lot :)
Really fun but controls are unclear
Did you see the instructions?
Yes, you have to drag your pointer in opposite direction of the grape
Right! Was there any other confusion?
nah
Cool cool
Cooler cooler
Drag mechanic is a bit funky at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. The music and sound effects are a bit goofy, but they do the job. Graphics are nice and remind me of oldschool early flash games. Tutorial fades away a bit too quick so had to click it several times.
Thanks! Good point on the tutorial, I’ll fix that after the rating period.
Cool art, the music is nice but I feel it a bit out of place. Simple but fun gameplay. Cool use of the name.
Thanks for your input! Perhaps if I decide to polish this game after the jam I can look into some more proper sound design.
Really nice art and music !
The mechanic is simple yet effective, congrats !
Little bug: when returning from the instruction screen, the instruction label remains selected (the violet splash is there)
Thanks so much! Yeah I wasn't sure why the instructions button would stay selected, I changed the "pressed" sprite to just the words, but that didn't seem to work.
Really loved the mechanics behind the balancing, was a little weird to figure out at first but was fun! I would have kept playing for a highscore but the music cut out around 600 points :(
Thanks for your comment! I thought people might have trouble getting the drag mechanic at first, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to make a proper in-game tutorial (rather than an instructions page). Good note on the music! I’d missed that.
