I do like this. It’s a bit slow for me, and even with that I couldn’t figure out when was best to flip the colours. Nice vibe, though!

The premise is very simple and strong! I'm afraid that even with the very simple visuals, I did have some trouble keeping track of what was going on in the game, (since the premise is inherently kind of disorienting), but that's something that could probably be easy to improve if you ever picked this back up again. The theming is all very clever and iconic.

Really well made game. Also great touch with the Easter Eggs .

Developer(+1)

Thank you!  Wasn't sure if anyone would bother finding those easter eggs, but glad you did!

Good news: I've found a fix for one of the biggest bugs in this game!  Have you encountered the one where you get game over after flipping even though the next wall was still miles away?  Well, that's just been patched!  It was actually surpisingly simple to resolve once I looked into it, but unfortunately we won't be able to upload the new build until after the jam, so you're stuck with the bug until then.

I like the concept of black and white.. Good job.

Developer

This was actually made for 2 different jams, the other one being 1-bit themed which we knew this concept would be perfect for.  Luckily we were able to work one of the Pizza Jam themes into it too.  Thanks for playing!

I love the tune! Really catchy. Also, bunny vibing.

Developer

Thanks!  That base melody was one of many I came up with several years ago and had kind of just been sitting on that whole time, so I finally decided to bring it out and actually put it to good use by writing a whole song around it, and it seemed to pay off!

Great use of the Chinese Zodiac / Ying Yang theme. The Switching mechanic and power ups feel fresh, there’s something really satisfying about going from being at the bottom of gorge to the top of a mountain in an instant. Thanks for Jamming!

Thank you!

I always like to spam the down arrow button to flip to flip sometimes.
However, I did notice there's a delay if you flip quickly.

I also got a glitch where it didn't switch quick enough when I got the carrot.
But the rabbit bobbing' their head while the music is jamming is pretty funny.

Developer

Thanks for playing!  Yeah, the bunny headbanging was a feature I added in shortly before submission aha.

Despite seeing some slight bugs regarding physics and switching sides, I was very impressed by the execution of the whole swapping mechanic. Changing the music dynamically was an unexpected bonus too, very nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!  I was wondering if anyone would notice the dynamic music.
