Cute and creative game which wasn't stressful to play.

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it.

Pretty fun! I found it a bit disheartening to get detected through a wall. :’(

Developer

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. It might detect but it should ignore the player beyond the walls. Still I'll look into it, definitely a bug.

It was at the end of a wall. I would say even if there’s a collision between the player and a light, it should not trigger if there is no “line of sight”.

The game was pretty nice, but I didn't understand how hiding underground works. still, I made it through, and the ending gave me life-long depression

Developer

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. I was out of ideas and time to implement other game jams theme so had to do it that way for ending.

The ending was kind of sad, but still a neat little stealth game!

Developer

yes i was out of ideas to fit in 1 bit jam's theme.

I like the simple concept and art, with some additional elements it could be an addictive game !

Developer

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. I would love to hear more about the additional elements, this was my first attempt at a stealth game, so all inputs are helpful to make game experience better.

The idea is nice, I didn’t hide to avoid the enemies.

Developer

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. Indeed its not necessary to do it that way yet. But definitely will be in future if i decide to update it in spare time. Any other elements you'd like in the game?

nteresting gameplay and simple black/white graphics

And there are apples!

It's great

Despite some quirky design decisions when it comes to the stealth mechanic, I do like the fact that you have to manage your burrowing meter as a resource - the core idea of the game is pretty solid, and with more time to develop, it could be a very interesting puzzle game!

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. Definitely with more time it could've been better but whats done is done. I'll try to make it better in future updates. Sadly that will be months later due to 1-Bit Jam having a months voting period (which is too long IMO).

Cute little game! I wish the underground stealth gameplay was actually necessary to beat later levels. As it stands, you can simply dodge all of the enemies even while visible, which defeats the purpose.

Developer

Hi. Thank you for playing and rating my silly game. I'm glad you liked it. I'll definitely work on that in future updates. Any ideas to how I can implement that? I'm always open to suggestions. :)

One idea I had is maybe you have areas where you’re forced to be burrowed to proceed? E.g. stationary enemies with a large enough vision cone, or obstacles that are solid unless you’re underground. Also I think the levels had a bit too much space so you could always walk around an enemy, so maybe just increase the angle at which they can see you by a bit.

Looking forward to seeing more! :D

Developer

Ahhhh I see, Thats a great idea.. will definitely add it to the mix.
