Played it for a decent bit and had a fun chill time. I feel like you should've added more colors of fish to make them pop against the blue pond, too much blue on blue going on. But yeah other than that a fun and playable incremental game :D
There was no music but the game was a great example of a progression game. I did find the fact that the main gimmick of the game was just swiping your mouse to be a little unfun. Eventually no matter who you are will beat this game. I personally like at least some strategy to be involved in the main loop. Otherwise the Game is well polished and i didn't encounter any bugs that i could tell of.
We are told by you that you sneak into the backyard of a property but we don't see that in game. A quick cutscene for the introduction rather than just going into the backyard, and Perhaps A gimmick where you have to hid the mouse if the person who lives in the house looks out may be good?
EDIT. I refreshed the page after seeing the dev's reply. Music did in fact actually load. I only played once the first time because I wanted to review alot of games. The music is pretty good, Kinda spacy.

Yeah, I refreshed the game after seeing your response and indeed there was music. Maybe it didn't load the first time or something. Depending browser games have issues like that.
The game has much more illegal stuff than breaking and entering. Stealing someone's fish is also illegal. Not to mention, when other people talk about "increasing biodiversity" they don't mean the biodiversity in their tanks full of stolen fish. Also very relaxing.
You should edit your page to narration of the game but I liked this biodiversity theme
I'll add some extra information in the game description to explain what we were going for. This was definitely more of a learning project for us so we didn't get the time to really sell the theme in a way that makes sense for the jam. Thanks for playing!
i think i beat the game
Yeah we didn't get the chance to add a real goal, so it's just a number go up game. Our initial end goal was get to 1,000,000 biodiversity which you definitely passed! Thanks for playing.
