  • Very clear GDD, describes your game well. The game itself is polished and plays well. It's a little unclear at first how to play, but the in-game help points you in the right direction. Music is very suited to the gameplay. Art work looks excellent.

Very well made! Runs smooth, has a nice atmosphere, but for now its mostly just a waiting sim. It is quite addicting I do have to say so this is definitely a great framework but try to come up with a way to differentiate it from games like stacklands.

This is a well made game! It's unfortunate that you made it look and feel so much as stacklands. Because your art is great and your mechanics work well, I think you just need a USP that makes your game different and you've got a great one on your hands :)

Hi it's the a similar card-stacking game for the jam :D I really love the fact that you fit very well the theme and used alchemy to create shadow. Would love to see more  in your GDD what your ideas are for the shadows cards. We don't really have much more content than you do, we just spend more in polishing so be proud of yourself :)

Nice game! I do think it would have been even cooler if there was a bit more of a unique twist to it to differentiate it more from games like Stacklands & Witchhand. But definitely a solid foundation, keep it up!

Game seemed a bit daunting at first.

But then I got the hang of it.

Genuinely a mad, "deck builder game"

I liked the game and it was very robust and polished. The art and sound design is great, I would play this longer if you had more content, I was looking forward to seeing which direction this is going. I've played stacklands for multiple playthroughs and didn't know about WitchHand haha, I'll check that out.

Only bug-ish issue I found is if you play in windowed mode, you can drag stuff outside the play area and lose them forever, and you might do that accidentally.

I would love to see you put your unique ideas on this, hopefully you'll continue working on it!

Hey sisuisa! Thanks a lot for playing our game and for sharing your feedback ^^ We're planning to expand the game during the summer months and add more content :) We'll look into the bug you encountered, thanks for letting us know!
P.S.: Have a great time playing WitchHand ;D

Really fun resource management game! The sound design was super satisfying and made it fun to just organize my cards around the screen while waiting for the processes to finish. Loved the art direction and illustrations! This game definitely made me wanting more! I also really liked the stacking mechanic which made it easier to manage things, and getting a big 'payout' of gems from a big stack was really fun.

I tried my best to break the game as much as possible, and I did manage to create one bug at the very end of my playthrough by making a huge stack of gems. Once the stack reached a high amount, the card stack moved off screen and was irretrievable. (at 9:55 in my video).

Other than that, the game played super smooth and I really loved the tutorial system. Again, excellent sound design. Really nice sound effect that catches your attention. It was also an amazing way to teach the player one step at a time without overwhelming them. I also love how the recipes get added and always have it as reference.

Where could you see this game going from here? Would the player be brewing specific recipes that are being ordered by a witch? Are you combining materials to spawn minions in a defense game? Could it be a way of 'brewing' your own deck in a deckbuilder PvE game? I'm curious how you could add interesting decisions beyond simply climbing the 'recipe tree' for the sake of reaching the top.

Really well done and I look forward to seeing how this can branch out from the solid core you've developed already. Great work!!

This was a really fun and engaging experience! Genuinely just wish there was more and maybe a little more variety in the cards that can be bought but i get that this would come in time! keep up the great work!
