Which path did you choose?

Fresh Build

How does your game bring our theme, OUT OF TIME, to life?
You are out of time to properly defend from the invaders, so you must act in the moment to distract them and hold out.

What did you do to ensure accessibility of the game?
We made a somewhat easy game with controls that can be picked up very quickly, as well as adding a web version and mobile support, so most people should be able to play easily.

Did you include the Indieformer or Patch Notes logo somewhere in your game?

No

It was a bit difficult to figure out the meaning of the icons, but once I understood them, I really enjoyed playing.

Thanks for sticking with it, glad you had fun!

Running the game places the whole game window in the upper left corner in an incredibly small resolution. I can't make out the rules. Make sure to run your browser build at least once before submitting!

Unfortunately we noticed that problem before submitting but ran out of time (lol) to properly address it. We've included a rules description on the game page now; if the board isn't too small for you hopefully you can give it a shot!

Thanks! I was able to play through it and won! After a few failed attempts :D

It reminds me of board games like Carcassonne. The 8-bit rendition of Scarborough Fair made me chuckle. Some of the SFX are very loud though, and there was one that got bugged towards the end. (Might have been because three vikings were beating up a single fort.)

Overall it's charming and I liked it! It really is real-time strategy.

I love Carcassonne! I also love Scarborough Fair and am quite proud of my arrangement haha. Yeah that sfx problem is from the multiple vikings, I hope it wasn't too bad. Thanks for playing!
