How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
This game is full of bugs and only half of them are intentional.
Everyone who developed at least one game messed up collisions and player spawning, we did too! And we left it in and made it the central feature.

Did you work in a team? If so, link their itch profiles.

Simple but fun, the fact that the collisions offset's were consistant was a good way to keep it fair / not require too much guessing while still feeling buggy and unfinished. Not sure what all the different platform types were supposed to do if they did work though (I think blue = horizontal movement, green = vertical movement just from the level design, not sure about the others)
Also having the debug mode show the colliders was a clever thematic way to have an easier mode.

Developer

Actually we didn't think it through, we just made different platforms for the different collision shapes, so their collision bug is recognisable. :) Thanks for playing  and for the positive feedback!

I accidentally played Playtest mode and saw later that Debug is supposed to be easier. Oh well. I had fun though, the platform colliders were just buggy enough to make me slightly paranoid but not annoy me.

Developer

Yeah, Debug mode is for the weak. Or people who don't want to get paranoid. :)

Fun visuals and sounds!

The falling down from the sky mechanics is a fun twist on this interpretation for the theme.

I didn't quite like when for falling down the sky, you kind respawn at that position in the game space, but when you hit a spike slime you get sent back a pretty long way. That was a bit frutrating to an otherwise pretty chill game.

Thanks for the feedback, glad to hear you had fun!

The game's pretty short and we wanted to have some degree of challenge here. However we also implemented a very sophisticated checkpoint system so after a certain point touching an enemy won't send you all the way back to the start.

I like the integration of the theme, and I like the stickers even more.

Developer

Note to self: create more stickers

Well made! I really like the fact that you can fall down to reach higher areas.

nice work. i like the idea of falling off the platform to get ahead. Feels like i am being rewards for taking the cowards way out. (figure speech, referencing Call Of Duty).

That game was frustrating but in a good way. 5 Stars for Theme Integration

Developer

Frustration in a good way was exactly what we had in mind :) Glad you enjoyed the game!
