The art and sound are very pretty, too good, the gameplay is very weak, and some things are confusing, but overall it is pretty for 3 days.
So the visuals where cool, for some reason reminded me of the overview map on wasteland 3. I was left wandering around trying to look cool and collect these boxes that kept sticking to me, then I hit space bar and realized I had a light saber, but that was it pretty much.
Thank you for playing our game!
Whaaaow, this is the coolest looking thing. I really love the visual style and the sound design. It's so atmospheric!
I enjoyed the gameplay, though I do wish there was a bit more to it, once you get used to the timing dealing with the boxes becomes relatively samey. Perhaps one idea could behaving some time pressure (outside of the unholy hand when you have too many boxes) but then also more guidance to finding the enemies. So that you are forced to move less cautiously, but also don't get lost as easily. on the later levels i spent a lot of time just retreading my path trying to find the last boxes. I really like the dragging of the sword and how that affects the angle of the attack, would be interesting to play with that idea more somehow.
Also i'm curious, what did the pickups do? I couldn't really figure that out.
Anyways, overall amazing job, i think this is, at least to me, the coolest looking game on this jam :) The gameplay is also solid, just could use some more elaboration.
Pickups do nothing, didnt had time to work on that, but we just kept it
Thank you for the ideas and playing our game!
I really enjoyed the look of this, even though techy psychedelics aren’t usually my thing. The sound design was pretty good, although I found the static in some of the sounds a bit aggressive.
Gameplay wise, I enjoyed it. The controls were easy to get the hang of, but the game had a decent enough challenge with each level.
I would love to see a bit more done with the concept. It reminded me of weird shareware games from the early 00’s.
Thank you for playing our game!
The visuals effects and vibes are pretty cool but the game doesn't have much going on unfortunately. Would've liked to see more done with it.
Yea we could have different enemies and more stuff, but unfortunately we didnt had much time.
Thank you for playing our game!
very interesting look, please rate my game too.
Thank you for playing our game! Will do
It looks and sounds amazing, but i think the theme could have been incorporated better into the gameplay, right now getting blasted away and enemies sticking to the player feels like just a minor inconvenience. Also, it felt like a bit too big, it was hard to find the enemies so most of the time was just walking around.
True, but apart from gameplay, the art is actually one of the main "error" that is the feature, we were experimenting with post processing and everything just became this, and we kept it. Thank you for playing our game!
The art and sound design are fantastic. I really enjoyed the mechanic where enemies stick to the player and you have to try to manage it optimally to get through certain parts of the level. Congratulations!
Thank you for playing our game!
I really enjoyed this game! The art style and sound design are top notch, they really impressed me. I did find the game a bit confusing though, and it was difficult for me to find all the enemies to move on to the next level. However, it was still an enjoyable experience with a great, glitchy atmosphere, great job!
Thank you for playing our game! We had plan to add some form of minimap but didnt had enough time :/
