How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
Within the game though, there are a couple of little mechanics that lean into "don't fix it, feature it".

Serving Trays can be stacked, which was not originally the intention, meaning you can carry a hilarious amount of dishes, that should honestly probably tip over, but it's all for fun, and this delivers there!

When the King eats food, there was a point we were going to make the dishes he spits back out land on only empty spots on the table, but we decided to let them overwrite dishes, meaning that the player can lose dishes if they aren't cleaning up after themselves, which makes the game a bit harder.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the art.

The only thing I’d suggest is trying to make a web version, since some people might avoid installing the game either because they don’t want to bother uninstalling it later or simply don’t trust the file.

Great work!

Thanks for the feedback! High praise for the art!

The engine that we used for this, unfortunately, doesn’t export web builds. :( But we might look in to redoing it with a framework that does!

I like playing Overcooked a lot, so I like the concept of your game. With that said though, with the way the visuals are presented I found the game to be too confusing and requires reading a lot of small text on a low contrast game screen.

The theme interpretation of the game also isn't immediately clear and I had to read the game instructions to find out, so maybe you could lean into that further and make those mechanics more prominent. Game otherwise works as intended as far as I have played. Shoutout to Becool3000 for the compatibility tips.

Music is nice but wish there was more sound effects.

Overall a good core, with more polish it could be great fun.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad that you enjoyed it, for the most part! Really solid feedback, which is much appreciated!

When the level loaded after the start screen there was only the hunger and anger bars, then I got it working by throwing it in windows 8 compatibility mode. Super cool cooking game, a lot like others I have played, but the premise is hilarious! Hmm, I could picture this being a multiplayer game for some reason that would be chaotic!

We had exactly the same thought! Especially with the point where the King is going to eat a goblin. You’d have players arguing about who’s going to serve him food, knowing that they’re not coming back! Haha. Thanks for the feedback! I can’t wait to check yours out!

It's not really my style of game but I found it interesting and the art is very well done, please rate my game too if you can, thanks.
