This game could be fun had it produce less enemies and start with less enemies before gradually more enemies come.

The ship's movement is good and shooting is good as expected from this kind of game. My only complaint is ship is symmetric making it hard for me to tell its front and back and thus causing moving confusion.

Nonetheless, the theme is well implemented either in breaking enemies or in breaking through enemies attack.

It's a shame about the malware warning, because this game is actually pretty cool. (Plus, it runs perfectly well in Wine.) The movement and the shooting felt really good.

The graphics were quite impressive. I think I actually wouldn't have been able to tell that you were forced to use a reduced palette. It all feels very natural, and the pixel art is very sharp.

I did find myself wishing that the camera was zoomed out a little more. I got sniped from offscreen quite a bit, and as Conquintor wrote, I ended up staring at the mini-map a lot of time.

Fun game, though! It's challenging but not unfair, and that's just the right balance to strike with a wave shooter like this.

Nice shooter, the art and sound go well together in a neat package. Now the gameplay tends to push you towards a "I'm racing in a direction and shooting behind " kind of strategy and stuff is happening off screen as a result. At some point the camera dezoomed and it felt a lot better.

Tried to play it but bitdefender seems to be going ham on the executable so ill just give feedback based on the screenshots and stuff you posted on discord.

Overall the art style is really nice and works well with the limited palette. The bombs though are a little hard to see against the background due to their color and size. The music you chose for the game is pretty nice, infernal-heat in particular bops heavily.

The addition of the radar is pretty nice but unfortunately it just tends to bring people away from the main play area. Trying to divide your attention between two different spots tends to not go well so people tunnel vision on one specific zone. Since a bunch of the stuff in your game can happen offscreen the area people tunnel vision into tends to unfortunately be the radar area.

All i can say is that it's a false positive, Fusion games often seem to trigger some over-agressive anti-virus heuristics...

Your game's pretty cool, it's too bad that most of it is happening off screen and you kinda resort to playing just on the mini map. I love the ship design and hit effects!
