Wowow 5/5 for sure! I wish the power-ups came slightly earlier, but this is so well done. Got to 10k :D

Rad game, the animation, polish overall, gameplay, it's really good! Although I thought progression was a little difficult, with swarms of enemies forming with only one eraser.

Developer

Glad you liked it!

Difficulty progression was one of the hardest things to balance, especially since I was low on time to adjust it before the deadline. Definitely could've done a better job with that ^^'

Holy moly, this game is amazing. If only it had sound. It has everything else really nailed down.

Good job man, for 48 hours this is some good shit.

9/10, would play a longer version.

Just please change the wasd to asd and space bar. Im not used to jump with w.

Developer

I'm really glad you liked it!

Someone already addressed the fact that spacebar isn't being used as a jump. I was originally gonna use it for something else, but had to descope before I could work on it. Also, I'm just used to jumping with the Up/W keys. ^^'

I'll definitely add that in sometime after the jam.

yea this is amazing, got to 14k at best. propably the winner if it was up to me, but ive yet to play most of the jam games

Developer

Awesome job!

14k is also about the best score I've gotten, but I only managed to make it there once. Every other time, it's been in the 11-12k's ^^'

Expect that number to be a bit higher in the future though, cuz I'm still making tweaks to the game that I'll launch sometime after the Jam reviews end.

I was pretty impressed with the challenge of this game. The one thing I didn't like was not being able to jump with the space bar. I'm not used to using AWD for playing platformers.

Developer

I was initially planning to use the spacebar for something involving the XP bar, but I had to shorten the scope of my game before I could start working on it ^^'

My favorite game of this jam, loved the animations and i really would like to see a bigger game with this mechanics and art with lot more features. Keep up the good work man

Really nicely done art. Not sure if there was supposed to be sound - none played for me. The scribberang is a good weapon, but has a fair bit of downtime built in, making it difficult to manage when the enemies get thicker, and makes missing a quick enemy kill quite punishing. A mechanic that allowed the scribberang to return faster under certain conditions might be nice.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

I've fixed up a few minor issues with the game (including the eraser's return time) in a small post-jam(ish) patch. Throwing the eraser was meant to be a bit risky, requiring the player to shift focuses between aiming and dodging, but I agreed that the eraser was taking too long to come back, making it much harder to keep the run alive.

Feel free to check it out when you get the chance! (^-^)
