INCOGNITA's itch.io page

The title of the original song(s)
-across the sunvalley take inspiration from Ocarina of Time, especially from kokiri forest theme
-B.A.a.FF takes inspiration from Earthbound, especially from Sanctuary Guardian theme, (yes that meme song)
-dreaming in dreams takes inspiration from Chrono trigger, especially from his main theme, and corridors of time
-Pastatime takes inspiration from the Kirby ost

(edit) so, it was supossed to be like a kind of a game, where you hear the songs without knowing what game i used as inspiration, but now i realise that maybe wasnt a good idea (that is the reason the project is called incognita), but I'm going to keep the cover image like it is, because looks cool.

Is this a cover, tribute, or medley?

Tribute

Description
genre: 16 bits, and i have no idea
how i composed the tracks: i well, I had to listen to almost in a loop the ost of each game respectively (or a specific song of the ost), and look for the music theory involved in those ost, and then try to do something similar, oh and obviously I used the sources of games sound, this made my job easier
what DAW i used? : i use LMMS because it is FREE
what is your favorite part?: my favorite part was not knowing what i was doing
somethin new i learned: i absolutely learned a lot about how to use soundfonts, and put chords where I never would have thought

Very cool stuff. Dreaming in Dreams was a nice tribute to the original, you captured the atmosphere well.

My only criticism regarding the songs is that I agree with Slo's comment below. Some of it was a little repetitive.

Nice use of soundfonts! My two favorites were Across the Sunvalley and PastaTime being my top pick. PastaTime really sounds like it could fit right in the soundtrack. I'm very interested in trying soundfonts in my work, there is an undeniable charm to their sound. Great little bundle of songs here!

PastaTime is the winner here for me! Couldn't help but start head bobbing to it.

I few of the tracks felt a little repetitive with the main rhythm loop.

Great job, all around! I'm impressed you did so many tracks, but maybe it would have been worth giving your 2 favorite tracks twice the attention.

I'm also unfamiliar with LMMS, screenshots of the interface looked very interesting and I'll be checking it out.

B.A.a.F.F was the best of the bunch for me. Some good stuff overall.

Nice arrangements, must have been a lot of work for 4 tracks.  My favorite is B.A.a.F.F, really fun and groovy stuff.

These are good! Pastatime is my favorite

This is pretty cool, it feels like it came right out of one of those trippy old Kirby games. Like Kirby and the Crystal Shards
