I love the synth wave feel! It really gives off 80's space vibes! I especially love the first half, it really nails the feeling of traveling through a wormhole!
Thanks a lot!
Yeah, tried to portray various cosmic visuals via organ/piano parts, something you may (?) see while spaghettificated in the middle of the wormhole :D
This is a cool idea for a game! The tempo shifts are striking and I wonder if you imagine in your game having adaptive music where the tempo shifts are triggered by entering the wormhole? That would be a fun project to work on and figure out how to implement in the game design. I’m also a fan of the growly bass you used. Good work and thank you for sharing!
Thanks for your review!
Music adaptive to gameplay sounds cool. You gave me another idea - not only tempo shifts, but we can increase music tension based on a number of ships you have. Imaging a drama of leading the fight, then accidentally falling into wormhole, switching roles and being outnumbered. Probably, to be done with multiple audio buses playing at the same time, but with managable pan/volume parameters based on gameplay.
Make it happen! That would be an awesome idea!
Really cool track, I really like the sounds in this track!
Cheers!
I usually have trouble fitting organs into my sound but you pulled it off! Great job!
Thanks! Tried to make it sound somewhat cosmic :D
Such a cool vibe! Loved the double time at the end.
Cheers! :D
Really cool style! It feels retro and I think it would work really well with the game you described, great job!
Thanks a ton :D
I liked the build up on this one! I wish it went a little harder at some parts though! It builds up, starts getting nice, and then slows down a little again, but I suppose it depends on how you imagine the gameplay sequence.
Yeah, shifting tempo is the key :D
Thanks for review!
