Message from the artist:
Hi! I'm tohomoko, and I hope you all enjoy this short little OST I made for the Composing Jam!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
Tomoa (depicted in the picture) finds himself running away from the village, escaping the beast... Little does he know the lone survivor he has with him is the beast itself!

Very nice composition and mixing of the tracks, sounds professional.
Really energizing and groovy vibes. Every track sounds different, yet would go well together in a game.
Had great fun listening to this masterpiece!
You’ve captured the NES sound so well here that I’m having very real flashbacks to the Robocop 2 game I played when I was a kid. I want a Nostalgia category so I can give you five stars in it.
Great sound, and very well-constructed music. Really enjoyed this.
Village in Ruin - Ooh, this sounds great. Great chiptune action here. Excellent melodies. I also really like the bits where you harmonize the lead. Interesting progressions throughout. Great little flourishes (those beautiful little accent sounds).
Escape Through The Forest - Excellent! This is my favourite. Love the use of glide. Love all the melodies that are firing left and right. It has a strong forward momentum, and it feels like definite platformer music. Also love the interesting chord changes. Spectacular!
Dusk Parade - Great! This feels like a foresty level alright. The noise washes almost remind me of some shoreline. I'm imagining a forest that leads into a beach. Very cool.
Unforgiving Therianthropy - The beat / chip syncopation makes me think of mega man. Great melodies throughout the whole track. Lots of fun. Lots of energy. It's fantastic really.
Return - Great track. Love that little dip effect you have near the end. Really like a short "hello!"-attention grab moment.
Also love the addition of the medley. I wish that one was also up for download above. It would definitely go on my regular playlist rotation.
I'm a fan! What a wonderful soundtrack.
Whoa, this is too good! I hope more people have a chance to listen and rate this. Dusk parade made me want to go dancing through the night.
I couldn't possibly offer any critique! Thanks for the wonderful listening experience.
You have one of the best chiptune music I've heard in this OST jam, each track always made me want to listen more!
Kinda reminds me of Bossfight's older songs like Milky Ways and Captain Cool.
From the very first seconds I knew I was bound for a good time. Not only do you know chiptune but you also master the composition style of games of yore (Megaman et al.) with the funky harmonies and intelligent use of glide. A pure banger.... and Unforgiving Therianthropy OMG ! I could dance to it.
Really good Chiptune! I love the style so much because with 8 bit games, you really have to use your imagination to fill in the gaps to identify what you're looking at. But the music, especially this, doesn't require you to think about what instruments are what, You just vibe with the sound. The composition is amazingly ambitious and absolutely crushes any vibe check you give it. This, is a beautiful example of chiptune, and I so want more!
oh my! thank u for such high praise!!
This writing is spectacular. I love the composition and retro style. Great work!
These are all fun and energetic! Sounds like I am getting ready to run and get some action!
Amazing! This sounds like a legit video game soundtrack! Well done!
This is some really good chiptune! Especially loving Escape Through The Forest.
