Naaah, You're fine. Game is indeed a bit difficult to get into right off the bat. But with a few tries You start to get the hang of it.

Wow! The textures are so pleasing to listen to. Very strong and emotional drop. Whole track gives off alien, lush and ethereal feel, love it. Is that an actual electric guitar You managed to slip in the finishing drop? I was wrong thinking that a guitar-like sound would fit in there anyhow, but You changed my mind.
Nice vocals in the background. Very pleasant instrument selection. Over this is very listenable, would love to hear this in a game of some sorts. I would somewhat love some bigger, more epic resolve. Very good as an ambient track, otherwise perhaps slightly lacks some change in energy for emotional impact. Keep up the amazing work.
I love the simplicity in the sound design of this track, short, not dragged out arrangement. The wind instruments and melodies give the feel of an adventure. Some dissonance sounds bit odd to my ear, but to each their own. One thing I could advice on is to check the volume/gain levels of your tracks, whole master, because I can hear the distortion of going over the digital ceiling, been there done that. I overcame this by having tracks at around -12 to -6 dB and then having some sort of loudness metering on the master track to adjust the final volume, which can further be tweaked by saturation and/or a limiter. Keep up the good work, don't stop creating!
Thank You!
Regarding the fitting, it depends on how You wanna see the pictures. For me they were just guidance material for the ideas and story, keeping the general meaning of the paintings intact. You could for example see the paintings as the "gameplay" footage, but I usually try to go out of the box with jam themes.
Every track was supposed to convey rising of an empire after the disaster with each track corresponding to respective painting.
One change I did in the paintings sequence is – I moved desolation to the beginning, instead of having it at the end to start with the post-destruction silence.
Very glad You enjoyed the music!
