Really well written. I'm not particularly invested in the Starhost but the story flowed so well it was an easy and enjoyable read. I especially liked how the end was written, well done

Developer

That's a definite success, appreciate you taking the time to tell me :)

Love how lizardy the characters are, from the way their movement is described to their speech. Excellent names too.

Developer(+1)

I tried my best to capture lizardy stuff, it was fun to think about and play with.

Fantastically written, great job of conveying the emotions of the cast. Brilliant to see some Starhost stories.

I do love me some Starhost goodness. First models I saw were the Geckos with shields on a YouTube battle report with goobertown. Dived in a bit recently, got the free files waiting to come off supports. Planning on a full force (feel they missed a trick with not calling the heavy dinos Tankylosaurus but there we are).

Might have to write more on these space lizards in the next jam :)

Solid story with writing that had me fully invested. Absolutely would read more. Genuinely great writing!

wonderful of you to say, thank you

Cheers! Honestly, I struggle to find anything to really offer in terms of constructive critique. The Theme was maybe not as strongly emphasized as other entries, but I dont really think that's a thing. Seriously, cheers!

nice adherence to low/no gravity concerns, very much enjoyed this outing, well done!

Developer

It was quite fun to think about, glad you enjoyed it :)

Ha, what a fun story. Witty, and tragic. Truly the best combo. Who would have known you could bring so much life and vigour to a bunch of lizards. Loved the names too!

Developer(+1)

Oh mate thank you so much, means a lot to hear you say that.

Alright now I'm sad for Ba'Kra'Thu.

Very well written story, I actually felt immersed in it.

Developer

Thanks! Really appreciate that :D

You got me feeling sympathy for an aligator man lol. Well done! Loved the names too. Did you come up with them, or are they actual character names? I'm not too familiar with the Starhosts

Developer(+1)

Truthfully they started out as jokey names. Ba'Kra'Thu was originally Bhurr-Ittho and Ja'Qiss was Ja'Qass.

Ba'Kra'Thu is actually the first few letters of "Bang, Crash, Thump" with the C changed to a K.

Incredible 🤣

oof, that sacrifice was brutal.

I don't want to say "thanks, I hoped it would be" none-the-less that is about right.......
