I love the style and the idea for the gameplay :DD I managed to beat the boss on my second try but he helped me a little bit by doing damage to himself :-]] Overall good game i enjoyed it!!
I may have encountered a bug, because the boss started to kill itself, went down on its own about half the bar.
Enjoyed the animations and feel, all in such a tiny package
Great animations and atmosphere! I liked the boss design too. Would love to see more!
Fun game, very good job for the span time that we had
The character animation and controls were quite good - and the boss is great !
I needed a bigger attack or something - he has so much health !
This is a really good base for something cool. The attacks were good but not overly challenging. Some boss progression would be nice (different phases). And ofc more bosses, but thats a given, maybe even with minions to overwhelm you. Combat feels good and the feedback is good. I faced a bug where restarting would just spawn a copy of the character. Overall it's a good demo.
This is really cool! It's neat how you took the souls formula, turned it on its side, but kept the slow, commitment-style swing and rolling. It's a perfect jam game in which you explored a really simple idea well! Great job with the hit feedback too by the way, the connecting swings have a lot of meat to them, and I recognize that was probably a difficult thing to do in the constrains of the jam.
Very fun game, good graphics and simple and addictive mechanics. I will definitely come back here to play a little more calmly later.
Now that I've managed to evaluate the other games, I'm coming back to give a more accurate.
The character's movements are very fluid.
There really is a lot of potential here.
Here are some points for improvement:
1-Maybe add one or two levels before the boss where you could even introduce the character's movements.
But I also know that sometimes we don't have enough time to finish the project.
The game feels great, and the visual feedback is excellent. It's challenging, but fun. I think you should keep going and add a few more levels, power-ups, and maybe some small enemies.
Cool art/animation!
It's a challenging game. But super fun to play.
Felt like there should have been more content and the boss health should have been way lower, other than that, its was a fun game.
