Great job submitting a game! This game is super charming. Love the minimal representation of the mouse. The game was a little too punishing for me personally. With how much you had to figure out by experiencing things first hand, like the spike cannon and the ice puzzle, I often died trying to figure it out. I got stuck at the second level facing the 2x2 rotating spikes. I could not figure out the timing and it was hard having to replay the entire level just to try something that didn't work.
If you were going for the hardcore experience, then I would say you knocked it out of the park. I would've kept trying but my hand cramped first haha. I also experienced a weird bug with the ice where the mouse would break from the grid every time I finished the puzzle.
I wish the beginning level jingle only played the first time you enter a level because I really wanted to be able to move immediately. Those few seconds that you can't move at the start adds up and discourages me from continuing.
I know what I've said so far may lean towards negative feedback but I really did have fun even if it was a little rage inducing. I love the aesthetics and running through each level many times makes you really good at navigating them, providing a sense of accomplishment and skill development, which I love. Thanks for participating!
If you're going to make your game trial and error, try to minimize the amount of time it takes to get back to the same spot. If you weren't trying to make the game trial and error, then you need to reconsider your approach to game design.
The part where the spike moves to block the mouse's way is too unclear and makes it seem like a puzzle to solve rather than a trap. The part with the ice is literally guessing. The part in the darkness is tedious. The part with the electricity looks too much like another ice section and made me tempted to quit immediately because I wasn't sure if I could trust the game not to have a surprise wall of electricity with different timing. The part in the 4th map during the chase sequence with several stars to dodge one after another doesn't give the player any way of seeing the second star before being trapped in its path.
The ending doesn't make sense. Why would the mouse, after being so agile in the maze, not just jump in and hijack the machine?
Thanks for the feedback. There are things like the spike trap or the electric barrier that I'm aware of and plan to fix in an update once the jam is over. They are not entirely clear and could lead to confusion.
The ending is just that: nonsense or absurd humor, you don't have to think too much about it.
Очень хороший! Я был удивлен последним уровнем! Хорошая музыкальная часть, которая правильно сопровождает и великолепное и приятное чувство движения. 10/10
That's most difficult game of all entries so far! It requires so much conentration (plus fast thinking when it comes to the last level). I've appreciated how "upgrade" theme evolved into upgrading difficulty from level to level. Third level upgrade surprised me a lot, especially its implementation in view of pixel restrictions. So, well done - this entry is a polished gem!

Challenging and fun game! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
I found this challenging but fun. The mouse is also very cute :)

A bit too punishing for me, but it was pretty fun, really nice work!

I was able to get up to the third stage, the game is fairly punishing, good for people that like rage games, nice job.
