Oh this is a journey! Was not expecting that first transition haha. I really liked it though, it felt more like a soundtrack that way and it was cool to hear the motif woven through

I love when the song changes styles and sounds it's so abrupt but so connected still, the journey is very well-documented from beginning to end with motif harp.

Yeah, it might be too abrupt, but it is also fun to surprise the listener. The harp is supposed to glue it all together and I am happy if that worked out.

Submitted(+1)

Oh no it wasn't too abrupt I meant it in like a BAM! way, like a really smooth edit transition and not jarring. It melts into each other seamlessly : )

I love the rhythm in the second part! The introduction also sounds so cool!!

Developer (1 edit)

Glad you like it. The second part is disco and the first part is maybe funk or R&B?

Sounds great! I really like the how the different tones of the segments feel, this song progresses itself very nicely!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for listening and commenting! I was a bit worried that the segments would not fit together, and I tried bridging them but I could not fit it in 2 minutes.

This was so funky! :) I love the contrast between the different sections and the way you used harp, especially in the second section!

Developer

Thanks! The harp is one of my favourite instruments in Garage Band.

You have the talent, please upgrade to logic! This ks one of the best entries I've seen so far. Keep it up.

Developer

Good idea upgrading to logic! Thanks for the encouragement.

sounds great. I love the effort of the animated image👍

Developer

Thank you! I didn't make the animation myself but I like it a lot.

When the keys came in I grinned wide! It reminded me of persona in combination with the bass guitar!

Developer

Never played Persona but thanks anyway!

The progressions and bassline on that second section are just EXQUISITE

Developer (1 edit)

Happy you like it, the bass line and the chords of the second part is where it started.

I LOVE THIS. It is clear you're a pro at this. The track reminds me of a backing track of a Youtube video, which makes it a bit nostalgic.

Developer

Thanks for listening!
