How does your piece use the motif?
The track loops the Motif, adding extra melody before jumping back in

Nice job! I think the percussion helps keep the energy going even when the melody is more static, and I also think it creates a really compelling loop. Don't want to echo everyone else too much other than that :)
The repetition feels like a march against overwhelming odds, a very stubborn nature of the piece. I kinda like the constant motif that still lingers even when the other parts fall into silence, pretty cool image.
I'm glad y'all liked it! I'll try to vary the melody a bit more next time.
Thank you so much for your feedback.
Really cool entry, I liked the percussion and the countermelody complemented the main melody very well! Perhaps a little more variation in the main melody would have pushed the piece a bit further :) great work!
Great use of countermelody, hard to believe you are a beginner. Only thing I can say is to vary things more. Really good job.
Very cool track, I really like the percussion especially!
I like the quiet before the storm vibe👍
I liked all your instruments but I think more could have been done with the motif. It is very clearly there but I wish you had played with it more since it just plays basically the same thing every other measure.
Toy around with the pitch, the syncopation. Make the motif work for you rather than you working for the motif.
Great beginner entry!!!
your use of 7 chords is very good for a beginner
