I really enjoy the overall concept of the game. Well executed, all around.

I am absolutely awful at this game (no rhythm andrew), but I am sure than anyone who has a natural sense of rhythm is going to have an absolute blast with it. Though simple on the surface, the combination of the trash-collection-mechanic, and the need to press the space-bar to the beat of the music, adds some appreciable depth to the gameplay.

Beautiful art. Wonderfully done, given the short timeframe of the game jam. The music is nice as well (got to love those chill beats).

This game deserves a spot in the top 20, for sure, given its sheer quality.

Very well made, but a visual indicator of how the beats are would be great. Also, i played nightmare mode, but i think the logic for missing one beat (i missed maybe 1 in every 5-6) was slightly bugged - the close layer of the background and the character would stop, but everything else kept moving giving it a screentear effect. Loved the visuals though, and the music was solid!

So pretty! Can't wait to see Connor fail miserably at this masterpiece! Love it!

It took me a LOOOOONG time to figure out this was a rhythm game, when i did it was very challenging, but still mot unfair. The gameover screen is hilarious, and the art is really good. Nice one!

The art is so pretty. And it has a unique gameplay system!

Interesting Game, I love rhythm games but was really expecting a visual representation of the beat. As the designer I feel like you have an understanding of when the beat is supposed to hit which is why it probably was not thought of. Its cool that their is different difficulties but would have liked to see the RPM increase with the types of songs. The first song was chill and nice. Overall great idea and concept would like to see a full version of this with different beats and visual indicators

It was difficult to get the hang of at first, but this is a very interesting game! It is very rewarding once you get the hang of following the beat

The art is very cute, I'm not coordinated enough to play the game, but the concept is great! I had some trash spawning in weird places that made it difficult to pick it up, not impossible, but it had a very tiny window to grab those. Still, a very good game!

the art is sooOOoooOO cute the visuals are just stunning!!!!!!! i really like the concept and the title is so clever lol ^-^ very fun and charming!!!!

This game has me going boom ba boom ba out loud and tapping my foot and space bar like a mad man. Once you get it down its a fun challenge for the brain to try and keep beat with the space bar and focus on the trash with the other hand. I did normal->nightmare fairly well, but somehow struggled with the slow time of easy. The art is pretty and I like that nightmare is doomingly red. Fun game, and great job on it!

A really pretty game with a nice concept I just really really wish there was a visual representation of the beat because I know I would have smashed the game if there was. I tried nightmare mode after a couple of other runs but without visual representation it was impossible for me.

Your artwork is fantastic and I stopped playing for a bit to enjoy it all. Unfortunately without any guides for the rhythm I found that hard. Spamming quarter notes seemed to help ...  maybe ... sometimes?

Really wanted to play more of it, but i got stuck right at the start with my monkey stopping and no trash to be picked up :/ Love the idea of reCYCLING  on a bike and the art looks fun. Good job still !

Art: Loved it, it was clean, kept on theme and even had the cute little bubi and mousey. The only thing I could maybe critique was that some of the trash items clearly were made as much bigger pieces of art and then scaled down because they're a lot crisper and sharper around the edges compared to a lot of the softer landscape (This could have been intentional though and if it was, disregard!)

Music:  When it all came together, it was nice and had a nice groove to it. I'll talk more about BPM and difficulty in a second.

Gameplay: Really confusing at the beginning. I realised quite quickly that I think I was just playing a static beat that sped up over difficulties but I think an non-experienced gamer might really struggle to pick up what the intended flow is. Not having any form of visual element to rely on at the beginning to get started made that a bit rough to ease into. I loved how you had an additional element of picking up the trash layered on top of the main flow. I usually found myself picking up trash to the beat!

Other: The interface is clean. I knew what everything meant and how to get where I wanted so kudos to that! I did notice that on nightmare mode, the background, player and trash kind of develop a mind of their own if you miss a beat and start sliding? I don't think that was intentional but given more time I'm sure that wouldn't have even been noticed.

Overall really good game and really enjoyed playing it once I got over the initial hurdle!

Charming art and setting! It took a bit to figure out the intended gameplay however. Some instructions on the game page would go a long way, you can still add those after submitting!

My space bar is REALLY loud.

Thank you for the submission!

Summary: Having no idea what was going on was part of the experience. I attempted to deduce what constituted as a viable movement key in the game, but there seemed to be no consistency. May have been down to my poor timing or inability to keep rhythm, but the Nightmare Mode patched that issue right up with the Endless Conveyor Of Death. Very wholesome game, don't litter kids. Or litter in general. Nice work!

Hi there,

the only viable movement key is the "SPACE" bar. It has to be hit with the beat of the music.

Thanks for the praise towards the art. I will forward it towards the artists.

I deduced as much, and yet, even when following the beat, it rarely seemed to keep momentum. Either way, the intent is clear. Thank you for confirming. So far, my take for the art still stands, one of the more visually appealing entries I've seen thus far ;)

Nice art style and good theme. It kinda took me some time to figure out, that I need to stay in rythm with the space bar, before that I always wondered why I could only go a bit. But thanks to the nightmare mode I figured it out 😂.
