Great game! I am not one for rage games but this was weirdly chill and calming. (Raged a lil bit maybe lol.) Its something I know Monke will love to play and scream at you for. Really great visuals, nuts that you made this in such short time. Well done guys! 🐒 OUG!

Are the turning controls tied to the frame rate? I can barely turn at all even with ez mode on playing with my laptop which is probably not getting good frame rates. I also keep cycling into/through buildings and get stuck with the pause menu not showing up for me to reset.

God these controls are terrible. i feel like thats intentional though. everything is modelled amazingly, but sometimes you clip through some things, seemingly at random - some guardrails, the floor once. super well made, and I did manage to beat it, thank god the checkpoints are decent

really liked the game, i hope connor will get the last collectible if he will play it xD ... first i was raging with the controls but after slowed down it was a really chill experience ! :D like the graphics very much :D

I did reach the finish line. Have to say that my only gripe about the game is when a model goes in front of the camera, you are completely blind on how your tilting. Other than that, really well made game.

Developer(+1)

thank you regal! I did have a fade script on the camera for occluding objects but in play testing it made the game run like a slideshow, definitely something I should fix in the future. Thanks for playing!

*Pronounce the following comment with intermittent seething rage* I never beat the game because I wasn't good enough. I never got a hang of the delay or control. Every time I tried to turn it was either too much or too little. I got to like a town street thing. The visuals are fun and so is audio, however I am not sure what I should do for them given the number of assets used for them. Was fun, but rage inducing. Fairly original, and I like games that actually incorporate the bike more than bike texture slapped on normal game. Anywho, I am gonna go burn this file, good job

A blessed review, thank you Zion :)

I love the aesthetic of the game! I got stuck I few times though lol

It was a fun game, but also a bit stressful. I would have rage quitted if it wans't for the checkpoints lmao. The art and  music were are very nice. Good job!

This was a really pretty and chill game if I wasn't falling on my face every 2 seconds haha. The sections of road where I could speed up and not instantly veer off into the hills were great but man the controls/steering was too much for me. I didn't even try to get any of the collectables off-road for fear of never getting back on it.

Good job on this game! it felt exactly like the first time ever i learned how to ride a bike (I was bad at it)

Developer

I think it will feel exactly how Connor does towards the end of each cycling day haha, cheers for the feedback!

Nice job! I sadly kept encountering weird clipping issues that froze me in place, but for what is an otherwise very polished game done in such a short period of time, its totally forgivable. I love the cute and chill aesthetic you created almost like a short hike.

Developer

Thanks Don,

If I had more time I would have added more collider logic but we all know how quickly 72 hours goes, appreciate the feedback!

If you like QWOP type games you'll love this one. It has the funny balancing A/D physics, which calls for quite the gamer. I may not be that gamer but I did have fun and letting me press R to go to past checkpoints helped a lot. Great Job.

Developer

Cheers Arargd!

It looks awesome!
I got stuck a lot and rage quitted at some point though "^^

Developer

Thanks Jeremi, I'll try to make future projects less prone to getting stuck. Appreciate the feedback!

Thank you giantd, hope you enjoyed <3

I didn't make the last train back to Tokyo because I'm a maidenless whelp with training wheels, but I will one day. Can't wait to play it on iOS using motion controls, whilst on a train to Tokyo.

Developer(+2)

Try it on the Yamanote line around 5pm, the other passengers crammed in can stabilize you while you play.

Love it!! 10/10

Siiiiick! Dark Souls meets Dave Mirra BMX. What a wild ride 10/10 would collect cardboard boxes on the freeway again!

Developer(+2)

This is definitely the Dark Souls of bike riding and is the first "Kaido" type game on the PC

Looks nice, the music is relaxing, it's funny as hell, i got stuck a lot though.

Developer(+2)

Yeah time constraints stopped us from putting in more robust collision handling but the checkpoints are plentiful, takes getting used to the controls! Thanks for playing :)
