Cool game! making a sequel to a game for a jam feels like a little bit of a copout, like you didn't really take the theme into consideration and just went with what worked before. Luckily the fun factor offsets that! The art is incredible, but it didnt feel like there was a reason to pedal, the mashing requirement was too much, and sitting at the left and shooting meant i got all the bananas anyway. Would love to see a version with that slightly adjusted!
i tried making the stats just good enough so that pedalling feels slightly hard, during the early game.
( well you can cheese peddaling by alternating between S and D key lol )
also you pedal the bicycle to collect the bananas rather than waiting for them to fall to you. Note that runs are lasting much longer when you do put effort into collecting the bananas using the bicycle.
the jam version is slightly harder than intended but it suprisingly made the bicycle mechanic more important.
funily enough i planned to add actuall obstacles for players to jump over only for them to not make it in the jam version.
anyways glad you enjoyed the game!
The long awaited sequel! It was fun to revisit it but harder and more fun! Love the art, love the satisfaction of popping those darn bloons! Love it!
A simple but fun game! The jump animation is funny! For some reason I can't seem to upgrade, but I wish I could because the game was fun!

fun fact :
since Pedalling is D and S Key, you can alternately tap to pedal even faster easily! This also counts on shooting as you can use both left and right click to shoot!

This was really fun, it had an awesome feel to it. I wasn't able to get passed the checkpoint though. The jump was a bit extreme I sometimes missed the collection of the bananas. It would have been cool to have the bananas magnetize to you all the time.
