Welp, this feels somewhat unfinished. Well done on doing player animations + physics + collision handling.

1) the character node - use the "colored_transparent" pack instead, this way you wont have that square background following the player sprite.
2) I'd suggest changing the cell size for the tilemaps from 16x16 to 14x14, it would fit better together.
3) more content - if I got it correctly the game got 2 levels right now and can be finished in about 3 minutes
4) the environment feels quite empty, maybe adding some random elements would help - like a wheat field and a farm of some sorts, or maybe some paddles / a small lake, or some forest area

Very basic, still not bad. Some tips: look into sfxr/bfxr for adding some sounds, it took a while for me to get used to when I touched a lever.

I didn't expect it to be top down, a creative twist! The player should have maybe used the transparent version of the tilesheet. I walked off the map and got lost.. :D Keep it up!
