At the aesthetic level super well, the only thing would be the walking animation that is a little rough. But otherwise visually excellent. At the gameplay level I really liked the many small details that were added to make it easy to know where the zombies were and also to be guided by sounds. The only thing I could criticize is that this type of game requires movement up and down and not having it the attack was a little uncomfortable. Also I would have liked background music because otherwise this type of game gets repetitive very quickly. Otherwise, an excellent game, well done.

Incredibly polished game, I love how cute the alien farmers are!!

Really well-polished game with lots of cool and intricate mechanics.  I especially liked the visuals and the polished controls and UI.  Nice work!

Art and audio were best I've seen so far, nice job! Game design was good too. I would put the pitchfork and the poison together though, near the center. I was a bit frustrated running from one side of the map to the other, especially since they despawn when the next level starts. Great job!

Hey there, I'm glad you liked the art and audio! Thanks for providing some feedback, I'll try and improve that in a future update. Thank you for playing our game! :)

Awesome game! Correct me if I'm wrong but there didn't seem to be an increase in difficulty with every new wave?
I stopped at Wave 10 with 152000 points.

- Loved the graphics
- Loved the sound effects
- I thought the concept was very imaginative and unique

I did wish there was some background music to accompany me though and I would have loved for each new wave to get more difficult

I did find one bug in playing which I think would have been difficult to spot in play testing and its wasnt a major or game breaking bug. However if you started stomping a field and a farmer came over and planted seeds before you finished, the field would get destroyed but the plant would stay. Then once the plant reaches its full growth cycle, the destroyed field returns and is now invincible, I couldn't destroy it again and I don't think the farmer could plant on it. Like a visual bug I guess,

Had fun playing this though, you should give yourself a pat on the back! :)

Hello! Hmm, maybe you're just to good at the game ;) Jokes aside, it's true that I tried to keep the game a bit easier for the duration of the jam, since I primarily wanted to showcase the concept. But I'll definitely ramp up the difficulty in a future version, maybe even with a difficulty selector.

Nevertheless, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the game, thank you so much for playing! :D

I unfortunately don't speak Spanish but if Google Translate is telling the truth, it seems you enjoyed our game, thank you! :D

Amazing work on all fronts - promising idea with great execution, and probably my favourite game from the jam! One thing to note, the CTRL button doesn’t seem to work for me on web. Alternative mouse bindings would have been a nice alternative!

Hey there, I'm happy that you enjoyed our game! :D and thanks for telling me about the issue with the controls, this is the first time I'm publishing with WebGL so I didn't know about its limitations haha

Wow this is crazy how did you come up with this from the theme.

The core mechanic is actually really fun I like it. You walk around doing quest, it's kind of like the cooking game like overcook where you get stuff to do stuff in time limit, but opposite. It is quite funny when you kill the enemy.
Although after playing for a while there isn't anything new so it get quite repetitive but I think you definitely scale the game up with more features, harder wave and upgrades. (I think this game with co op would be spicceey)

The art is very nice I really like the pixel art and you definitely can identify which farmer is which and what to kill first. The art remind me of starbound. I have one problem with the walking animation which is a bit weird, it look like your dancing or something when you run. (it look good on normal walk though)

The sound effects is amazing, it really make the game more satisfying. Although it would be nice to have some music with this kind of game.

I think how your character physics interact with the alien is a bit buggy.

Overall very solid game with potentials.

Hey! Wow, thank you for your pretty elaborate feedback! Happy to hear that you like the art and the game concept :). Coop lowkey sounds like a fun idea for the game, I didn't even think of that up until now, I might add that in the future. Thanks for playing! :D

Great art style and sound design. Instructions were unclear, the menu UI and instructions were covered by the high score UI at the beginning of the game.

you're every where lol.

Also thanks for being everywhere so everyone get their game rated/ played.

Developer

Hey there thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry that you had problems with the UI, I am still pretty new to unity's ui toolkit, so I sadly don't know how to display elements independent of the canvas resolution :(. But I'll try to fix that in the future!
