Really well-polished game with lots of cool and intricate mechanics.  I especially liked the visuals and the polished controls and UI.  Nice work!

Awesome implementation of the Failure theme.  I love the creative gameplay loop which is really trippy in a way since it's so unique.  I just naturally kept wanting to collect the cherries, but the audio 'you suck' was the perfect punishment for doing so haha.  Very well-polished game as well, nice work!

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback!  Just the art took about half the dev time honestly which probably wasn't my best decision haha

Thank you! And yep, its playable on GB haha.  I used an engine called GBStudio which exports to Web and Rom.

Thanks for the feedback as well!  I wanted to try for a Frogger-like movement, but I don't think it came out right for this game.  Live and learn!

Challenging and fun game!

Very clever and polished implementation of the prompt.  Nice work!

Great implementation of the theme to add more depth to a classic game!  Love the polish, really well done.

Cool JumpKnight-like game!

I also wasn't able to beat the boss, but is a cool game with lots of character!

Oh man that's weird! Did you try refreshing the page?

Love the ending, it fits the theme really well!

Love the aesthetic and story!

Nice work!  Really clever idea

Love the fact that there are 2 games in 1!

Love the retro-style aesthetic!

Thank you!!

Thanks for the feedback!

Really nice art style paired with a very creative and well-implemented gameplay mechanic.  Nice work!

Really nice vibe and aesthetic which made for a very peaceful and fun playhrough.  Nice work!

Really creative and cool movement mechanic!  Love the bean XD

Really cool merging of platforming with narrative storytelling.  Nice work!

Cool 'Foddian'-style game similar to Getting Over It.  Really liked the level design too!

Great atmospheric game loaded with creativity!  Love the mechanics and the beautifully expressive artstyle.  The dialogue is also well-written.  Nice work!

Love the character design and funky tunes!

Great frogger-like game with clever and polished mechanics.  The music is also really nice and fits the game very well!

Really cool and creative idea!  The mechanics are well thought out and make for an enjoyable (and stressful) climb

The physics of the ball is really well done, it feels super polished and tweaked in a way that is more forgiving/fair for the player.  The concept is cool as well, and the aesthetic and music are really great.  Nice work!

I like the concept, it's very original and creative!

Fun arcade-style game with a lot of character and unique gameplay mechanics.  Love the character design as well!

Love the character design!

Very cute and aesthetic artwork!

Great game!  The art aesthetic is really pleasing with a nice contrast of colors and a non-distracting background that still communicates the sheer heights that the player is reaching.  The controls feel super smooth and well-polished and the concept itself is really clever and well implemented.  The sounds also do a wonderful job of enhancing the gameplay.  Nice work!

Fantastic game!  The mechanics, concept, visuals, and sounds are all extremely well polished and make for a really great (and frustrating) experience.  I love the simple mechanic and idea of trying to scale a mountain as this peculiar creature.  The game feels like a 'Foddian'-type game due to its gameplay loop of a simple mechanic that is difficult to master and a clear goal.  I think your level design is clever and the checkpoints make for a muuuuch more fair and reasonable expectation for the player.  That being said, it is still an extremely difficult game, but in a fun and interesting way.  Nice work!

Cool concept and gameplay with a retro-style aesthetic that fits it really well.  I also did not initially understand or make the connection between 'not always being saved' and the last level, but once I did make that connection, it was a very beautiful ending.  I think some sort of visual cue to further hammer that concept home would be effective.  Excellent work!

Great game!  Love the creative merge of a rogue-like mixed with a platformer.  It's very clever and well implemented.  One thing to note is that it is possible for the player to become 'soft-locked' if they are stuck in one-block island over spikes with no charge left.  So perhaps some sort of checkpoint or reset mechanic in order to avoid that.  The mechanics felt super polished and the visuals were really nice too!  Nice work!

Nice game with a "getting over it" kind of vibe due to the ability to lose previous progress.  The art style is simple but fits really well and makes for a playful experience.  Adding a timer or scoreboard would be a nice touch in order for the player to have a speed or score that they could benchmark and beat.  Also, the mechanics felt very smooth and well implemented. Nice work!

Really unique game and aesthetic!  The mechanics were very smooth and polished as well.  Nice work!

Cool concept and idea!  I liked the art style and overall aesthetic.  I just wish there were more levels (which is probably a good problem to have).

Thank you!!
