I liked it! But simply running in a circle seem to be a winning strategy. Maybe add some enemy that somehow counteracts that.
thanks for the feedback i just didn't have the time to add a new enemy
Challenging game and cool idea with indirectly controlling the sword. The visual effects are a bit much for my taste, but the gameplay feels satisfying and it's a good entry to the jam!
Thanks for the feedback
Super well polished! I loved it! That's a very challenging game! It's so satisfying to move your sword around that I played many runs 🤫
thanks for the feedback glad you had fun
I really like the arcade feel! The mechanics of the sword that tries to kill you being your weapon is an amazing concept. Having everything glow with hard light looks a little strange, but it gives it a trippy feel.
Thanks i didn't know if the glow effect was a good idea but i guess its good
Some very cool arcade action here. It manages to feel both very old-school but also fresh.
Once I realized that my character wraps around the screen but the sword does not.. that really opened up some tactical possibilities. :)
The music sets the right tone. The backgrounds look great--suggestive of 1980s arcade cabinets, and yet snazzier. I also think the visual effect when the main character dies is weird, psychedelic, and hypnotic.
I'm not so certain about the appearance of the enemies--it looks like Blue Man Group did too many pullups. :)
thanks for the feedback artist AKking made the blue org and io do agree it looks kinda off but i thought it was super good
This is a really good implementation of the limitation! I really had trouble reading the game though, the character and the sword were sometimes barely visible over the background.
thanks for the feedback
Lining the guys up and hitting them is satisfying.
glad you enjoyed it
