I think I got the same issue others have already described with the last puzzle piece.  The art looks great and the music fits well too.  Some of the physics/movement is a little off but it doesn't hurt the game much. Neat puzzle game.

Really impressive for a jam this short. Visuals look good and animations add a lot. Background audio works well and game has all the expected sound effects. Creative use of the theme, most games went with the UFO as the player. Good progression of puzzle complexity, kept me interested the whole way through. I'm not sure if I ran into a bug or if there's supposed to be an end. I think I found all the pieces and "Press R to reconstruct wreck" pops up on the puzzle screen but R just toggles the screen and goes back to fish control.

Thanks so much for the kind words. As it stands there's no real ending - if you've found all the pieces and put them together, you're done. It is a bug though - that last pop-up should say 'wreck repaired, thanks for playing'. I'll look into fixing that.

This reminded me of Thomas was alone. To make this must be tiring, it is a big game...and you did it solo.. well done.

What a lovely comparison. Thank you. I have learnt a lot working on this game solo. I have ideas to expand with more puzzles and story, so check back soon if you enjoyed it.

Very cool! Looks and sounds really good.

Is there a finale I'm missing? Or is it just over when the pieces are all placed?

Developer

Thanks so much for playing. Yeah, once the pieces are placed, that's the end. I ran out of time - but there definitely should be some kind of conclusion to this thing.

I really like the swapping character mechanic, and the visuals help a lot on knowing what do to next. However, the reconstruction part seemed odd to me since there was a piece that was very obvious to fit in some specific place because of the silhoutte and whenever I tried it to get there, it just wouldn't work. Still, a pretty nice puzzle (sorry idk what genre but puzzle seems the closer to it) game.

Oh, I forgot! I also really like the artstyle pretty much and the use of the fish mechanic seems clever to me, using the colors of the fish as indicators of which fish activates certain switch, and the crab habilities and disadvantages are also well-thought.

thanks for playing my game! sorry you ran into a bug with the puzzle (if it's any consolation, that last piece completes the game anyway, so you were at the end)

Really appreciate the feedback
