i like interfaces with lots of buttons, toggles and switches, so that’s a lot of fun to me! i found out that drawing bigger circles makes it easier to reel the stuff in. before that, it was kind of difficult to raise that bar. at first i didn’t understand it, but when you get it it’s really nice to see all the blinking leds showing you what to do next. cool concept!

I dig this kind of interfaces! I ended up filling the UFO with cows and bulls which is pretty accurate, the music is relaxing and the interface itself is really responsive and not that hard to understand, i understood everything in less than a minute which is really nice having in count the average complexity of this kind of interfaces and the jam duration. Totally impressed on the usage of the limitation of course. great experience!

I found the interface a bit confusing to start - but figured out that you had to spin the dial in the middle to fill the meter on the left while the beam was on. Nice execution.

Thanks! Sorry that wasn't clear; we tried to guide the player to the controls they needed with lights and hints. Maybe, if we had more time, a brief tutorial would help.

fun concept. I wonder what else is out there that I never caught... found the interface a little difficult at first, but that's alien tech for you... Nice work.

Well, i played it a second time and did a lot better. I think that if the target gets away then there should be some player feedback to reflect that, otherwise you just feel like you did something wrong, or maybe missed the target in the first place. Also i'm playing on a trackpad so the reeling in was quite a workout. As a further idea, you could consider an inventory screen with greyed out shapes for the items that have not yet been caught.

OK. There are different sounds for succeed/fail, but maybe we could have added something else or made that clearer. You know, I tested it on my touchpad and didn't have trouble, but in hindsight I could have made the reeling scale better. Maybe draw the meter as sqrt(power) so it appears to move more easily at first, and lower the difficulty so it's not as taxing.

The inventory idea is interesting. My immediate reaction is that it would be less fishing-like, but it would probably feel better to the player.
