Use of the limitation
We decided to make the dice the win condition. The demons tormenting you roll a set of dice as a target number, and by completing mini games you earn dice to roll against that number. Beat the roll and you can wake up.

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
It was great and straight forward. The limitation really threw us for a loop at first, but I think we made due! We'll likely participate again.

Thanks for giving me nightmares! Very creepy and atmospheric, especially when you had sleep paralysis before.

I was a bit confused how to find minigames and just kind of randomly looked and clicked around. Also it would be good to get instructions how to do the minigames (I was not sure what to press / click e.g. for "do not blink" or "control your breathing").

Great overall though!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I wanted to leave it a little ambiguous to try and make the player feel more helpless, but I don't think it worked out how I wanted. We'll check out what we can do.

I really like how well this captures sleep paralysis! Looking around a dark room and not being able to move is super spooky. The art and sound are just great at creating a really eerie atmosphere. The minigames were also fun overall, but they could probably use a little balancing (although a lot of that is subjective). I personally found the reaction time one much harder than the other ones, but I did eventually get it! Overall, I had fun playing this, amazing work!

AMAZING GRAPHICS! had me on the edge of my seat and constantly looking behind me. My only complaint is ever since I played the game, I've been getting no sleep :(

Very creepy game! Audio and graphics are both great. You nailed the atmosphere. Found the timing games, like controlling your breath, a tad fast, but overall a very nicely made game. Good job!

The game feels so real that I remembered the time I first encountered sleep paralysis. There are no shadows like in the game but the feeling of having no control in your own body is terrifying.

The game's ambient is great, the minigames are fun, and the art fits the desired theme. Overall, it a great game. Keep it up!
